Great video! It will be interesting watching that new roller coaster getting built. Years ago (maybe 20 or so) I worked at a tech company next to Great America theme park in Santa Clara. I took a walk every day along the creek trail, and I got to watch them put the whole roller coaster together. Fun process! 🙂

We’ll see a lot of progress in the next few months for sure! Very exciting! The foundations always take the longest, but they’re already pouring footers before I even knew what was happening.

Yup! Foundations and footers are the longest part and then after that the coaster goes up super quick. I can’t wait to see.

The true horror Xmas decorations lol..okay maybe I’m all good with some fabulous twinkling light decorations. I will always hope Universal Studios will grow and expand to the girthiest it can in the space it has. Much like this channel in how Dylan focuses on all the local parks in depth. Big Preesh on all the scoops and normal updates 😊

I’m sure in 10 years Universal is going to be even bigger. I wouldn’t doubt that another 5 rides get added to the park which would be awesome.

I was really hoping that Universal would decorate Super Nintendo World for Christmas similarly to what they do in Japan because last year they decorated their Super Nintendo World with Christmas decorations but hopefully next year in 2024 Universal can decorate Super Nintendo World Hollywood.

Most likely it will be next year because in Japan’s Super Nintendo World it was decorated on the 2nd year.

One thing that kind of annoys me about Disneyland and Universal is because they have the rights to certain IPs, they overload their seasonal merch with that IP. Disneyland it's Nightmare Before Christmas during Halloween and Universal it's Grinch for Christmas. A little variety would be great. Here it's just Grinch, Grinch, Grinch, Grinch, Grinch, Grinch, Grinch.

I agree, I guess they look at numbers and figure they will make way more selling the usual stuff.

I always find it odd that Universal and especially Disney go to ride manufacturers to build their rides and coasters and do not do them inhouse...While a smaller park like Lagoon in Utah, has built several rides entirely inhouse now including Cannibal one of the best coasters in North America and the new Primordial an interactive/coaster/shooter ride with tons of theming...

That’s not true, rides like Cannnibal and Primordial are absolutely built by manufacturers. ART Engineering did both rides, and Triotech did the dark ride portions of Primordial.

Cannibal was manufactured by Art which is based in Germany. It’s easier to work with a manufacturer on roller coasters and some rides because they can make custom things for each park and can still make things affordable. In order for Disney or Uni or any other big hitter to build something in house like a massive coaster, it would take a lot more time, money and facility to build it.

@@toddbendall518 which is exactly how many, Many rides are developed. Park has an idea, manufacturer develops and implements it.

You spent wayyyyy too much time describing the roller coaster building. The cement truck going up-really?? Otherwise-ok video. I didn’t learn much other than it’s crowded during the holiday week…& that spirit jersey is way over priced.😮

Ahhhh--that makes sense! We’ll be there soon, so a lot of your info was great. I realized I sounded so negative. Ugh. I didn’t mean to come off that way. We are very excited to see Grinchmas. My daughter has special needs, it’s her favorite.
