I liked this film. I even watch it when it's not xmas. Question about Kate is the reason why she imagines Tom is due to her medication for her heart transplant and that's why she is the only one to see him when no one else can. I like to look at this as A Christmas Carol where Kate is like Scrooge and Tom is her ghost of Xmas past,present and future.
