Incidentally, there is a Broadway musical currently in the works, featuring a book by *Marco Pennette* and an original score by *Julia Mattison* and *Noel Carey.* They they just had an industry reading of the musical in April, with *Megan Hilty* as 'Madeline,' *Jennifer Simard* as 'Helen,' and *Christopher Sieber* as 'Ernest.'

Can we talk about that amazing camera work being done in the first minute? It's amazing how instead of cutting to the scene upstairs, it was literally one camera the entire time from the moment Madeline walks inside, to seeing Ernest with his drink on the ground and then panning up to the stairs back where Madeline is. 0:49 also, how did they shoot this with the mirrors without the camera being in the way here?! There's not a single set or cast member spotted even with the mirror door pushed open to the side.

Looks like the mirrored door isn’t facing directly at the camera, but is slightly off, so they could hide the camera just out of view.

Sad thing is, the minute she drank that potion, she was already dead. Human bodies have adapted to protect and heal from injury (within willpower and reason), through numerous wear and tear. Her body's basically FROZEN in time, which is why she doesn't age, but also can't heal herself without outside 'maintenance'. It was why there was all those flaws after every injury. They basically fall apart in the end!

Think about the fact that she wasn't even able to enjoy her perfectly rejuvenated body for even one night. This is likely barely an hour after she took the potion. And she clearly paid a great deal of $$$ for that as well!

Alot of iconic scenes, this being one of them. Madeline transitioning into a younger her. Helen as a bigger woman and in rehab. The hole in helens stomach. The harmonizing between madeline and helen saying "pleeease". The party with all the alleged dead celebs. And of course.. The church scene at the end. I could go on tbh. Lol..

Universal please, please, please, please release the deleted scenes... this movie must have been almost 2 hrs long. I have counted 22 (extended) deleted and alternate scenes at least. 1 Ernest & Madeline wedding scene 2 Ernest and Madeline leaving the house 3 Dakota and Madeline in bed 4 Extended Madeline arrival at Chagalls 5 Ernest and Toni at Dominick's 6 Ernest and Madeline get ready at home to go to Bookparty, Rose is there too 7 Jay Norman & Starlet and Madeline talk 8 Helen and Ernest talk extended 9 Madeline comes home after taking the potion and calls Dakota... Ernest listens in 10 Doctor finds Madeline dead (paased out) in hospital 11 Helen calls the Menville residence 12 Ernest puts Madeline in freezer 13 Ernest visits Helen at Beverly Hills Hotel, Helen again tears her hand open with a hankerchief 14 Rose arrives for her duties and fights Ernest when he says she's fired 15 Ernest takes Madeline out of freezer and up the stairs 16 Ernest extended escape in Lisle's mansion 17 Lisle arrives for the party 18 Alternate scene of Ernest finding the potionbottle in the pool 19 Ernest escapes to Dominick's bar with potion 20 Madeline and Helen search for Ernest at Menville mansion 21 Madeline and Helen find Toni crying over Ernest (pretends he's dead) and Toni gives the potionbottle to Madeline... followed by Ernest and Toni talking. 22 The Alternate Ending: Toni and Ernest at old age, Madeline and Helen bored... There may be even more Edit: There's more... there was a scene with some workers at an autopsy room working on a dead Priest (right after the floating nuns) right outside the morgue and after the "'It's a miracle!" scene we see one of the workers again... Ernest and Madeline walk by and Mad goes: false alarm! So that's two short scenes.

@@XanArt21 As far as I can tell, there’s only one track in the new deluxe edition of the soundtrack that contains any music from a deleted scene. That being track 22 “Switzerland”. The rest is either simply expanded and unreleased music, or alternate versions of previous tracks. Such a fun score. I never tire of it.

The way she twists her own head back around, just like it's supposed to be...but then there's some lumpage on the right side of her shoulderline, near the neck........ Very creepy! And-believe me-a doctor ain't gonna do her a bit of good! That young'uns as dead as a doornail. She just doesn't realize it yet.

It sucks that Mad was so petty that she let him calling her cheap set all this mess in motion. If I had just had my looks returned to younger perfection, I hope to hell I could laugh it off and say, "You're right. I'm not good enough for you. Have your lawyer draw up something and let's get divorced." She could essentially have reset her career and she didn't need him anymore. Sad.
