I'm guessing it won't be long until it starts hitting players and organizations who are already scraping hard due to this pandemic start cutting ties if there's even a remote chance.

@@VegapunkRill Well.. i can't speak for the players, but as a spectator I've completely lost interest. My esports app already got uninstalled from my phone and it was the only sport I followed. Valve already deleted Tobi's chatwheel dialogs. Wouldnt be surprised if games that he casted were next.

Alisher Karimov its a 1 million dollar coil cause the difference in prizepool from 1st to 2nd was 1 million dollar, and for TI5 you all suddenly use the final prizepool, not the difference. Either make it a 1.6 mil coil or a 4 million echo slam

Yeah dude, I mean we all know this wasn't a particularly "amazing" play. It was just a fluke thing due to in part the stupidity pf CDEC. 9/10 of 10 pro teams today would've decimated them even more than EG did back then.

It absolutely was, this was really more of a fuck up from CDEC than anything else. There's an AA and Earthshaker on EG, it was pretty obvious this would happen. The fact that WW was inside the pit when she had no need to whatsoever is even worse. Why they chose to risk this when the game was actually going pretty decently for them I have no idea.

Don't forget the damage from Ice Blast. So it's a Ice vortex + Ice Blast + Echo + Aftershock (for 5 plrs) + Fissure. Total wombo combo. Nice teamplay, good thinking in Dota 2 overall and understanding key moments for the win.

+Jerone Shearer This game was full on equal. There was no saying as to who will win the match. This is why you hear Synderen saying that EG most probably will want to delay rather than fight 4 v 5. CDEC made a risky play and lost 6 million due to it.

As a diehard EG fan since their SADBOYS era, I watch this everytime to heal my Bulba trauma. Still can't believe that year they won TI. I was in college and it was my finals week but I watched every play-off series. They went to TI with a revamped roster and a young unproven midlaner. Hope SR can win one TI

Seriously, this is the best TI finals ever. That 3rd game was fucking intense, and then this happened during the 4th game. I can't even brain this, was screaming and shouting so loud in my bedroom. This play was definitely on par with Kyxy's Magnus 5-men RP back in TI3. So emotional right now, finally Universe and Fear had what they deserved, and they are finally TI Champions. GGWP. #BestTIFinalsEver

The best part of CDEC was how disciplined they felt. They were almost like robots just so precise in anything they did(excluding the draft, they need more work here). But when they gathered up nice and tight for AA, ES, and Gyro right here I couldn't believe it. I was running through all the scenarios in my head thinking maybe it was a trap of some sort to catch the rest of EG out of their base since Wyvern had her ulti but then I saw the 0 wards up. Immediately realized what was about to happen and that the grand finals were over. It must have been the pressure of being down 2 to 1 that led to such a mistake. I'm glad EG won but I'm also happy CDEC made it this far. I look forward to seeing more from them.

Poor Agressif. Carrying a mid player that could play only one hero properly to a TI finals was a massive achievement. At least he was one of the most important HC players in the history. He may never won something really important but his Ti5 performance alone changed the way HC heroes are played.

League of Legends pro player here, I always come to this play whenever I need some motivation, everything is fvcking good. The crowd, the casters losing their minds, they play itself is chef kiss (the chain cc and damage are just insane). Always brings my spirit right back up! Hope there's more plays like this in the future!

I watched this moment in a theater. My Marcus Cinema played the entire TI4 semifinal and final series on an actual movie screen. It was amazing. There was only me, a few friends, and a second group of people a few rows away from us. They had a giant American flag. I can never replicate that moment.
