Please take note, the collision is not meant to be historically realistic in terms of position of either planets, the effects of the collision, and the speed of Theia. The only factor meant to be true is the size of Earth and Theia.

How to do it: Step 1: buy universe sandbox Step 2: go to the earth and crank up the heat...REAALLY high Step 3: get some big asteroid, preferably the size of the moon Step 4: boil ‘Theia’ Step 5: crash it to earth and watch the horror

What probably happened: Theia barely collided with earth, rotating it 23.5° to it's side. (giving us seasons) Then, Theia turned into Earth's rings, which later came together to make the moon. And then, yeah. Were here now.

The strongest eartquake ever registered in Earth was 9.6 in richter measure. Cientists said that the collision with Theia could have triggered a 32 richter eartquake.

Theia was smaller than the earth, containing less mass. Meaning it probably couldn't destroy the earth.

Thanks for the description. It does appear that the entire mass of the smaller planet is completely absorbed by the Earth or else entirely vaporized. Probably not realistic at all. Looks cool tho! (Until it happens lol)

Theia needs to be a bit pinkish because that's how it looks IRL. Earth needs to be a hellfire planet because Theia collided with Earth 4.4B years ago, which was when Earth was very hot.

Thank goodness you were the second KZfaq that I saw did an actual custom Theia, not a stupid Mars substitute. The first one was Neptunian guy/MaffBros which I requested to make a custom Theia for the same reason

If I had a time masheen this is one of the first times I would go. Imagine the Earth crust bending as impact was about an hour away. Whatever that Earth looked like we will never know. Was there anything living on Earth at that time ? If there was it was not evolved enough to know or care.

Theia actually grazed earth turning earth on it's side witch then earth absorbed thei and the left over debri created a ring around earth witch then the rocks in the ring collided toghther creating the moon.

You are wrong, this happened about 4.5 billion years ago when Earth just formed and was a hot and rocky planet.

Błędny przede wszystkim jest kąt uderzenia, przy tym uderzenie nie tworzy księżyca, co widać na animacji. Thea uderzyła prawie że stycznie, (kąt prawie 180 stopni), co dużą część materii wyrzuciło na orbitę, z prędkością ucieczki, ta materia uformowała się w kulę, i stała się Ziemskim satelitą.
