sbs seriously does not need to make a season 2 for boys, or any more survival shows actually! leave survival shows to mbc and mnet, i'll give credit where it is due and mbc's my teenage girl was one of the better survival shows, it just sucks that the girls ended up under mbk and their last comeback was in 2022 (same year as debut lmao), and mnet's survival shows are more popular + boys planet was actually entertaining so more people watched it.

i actually stopped voting for hyeonju because I KNEW the final lineup would literally have 2 adults max... and here we are with my girl becoming a mother like why is no one talking about the fact she is a DECADE older than seowon and the closest member in age to her is 6 years younger !? i really hope this dosent take a toll on her or anything because I KNOW they are making her the leader and she will literally have no one to lean on in that group because of the age gap. I really wish her the best T_T If I could only change one group member it would be hyeonju. Not because shes not talented but because i know that group will stress her tf out... personally I would change her with haram because damn they have no main dancer hasdhdha maybe elisia or hyeonju will since theyre all rounders? leaning more towards hyeonju because they love pushing the elisia main vocal thing in all honesty i lost hope in this group very early on i was only pretending to gaf because i was like... maybe with votes atleast 3 adults can debut but no they gave hyeonju a baby sitting job sorry girl. for the concept of the group theres like 99% chance they will go for a cute concept but i kinda hope they make music similar to gfriend in a way? idk i just wanna bring christian horse girl music back and like with a group with a 12 year old there really isnt much concept options okay enough with my yapping. thank you for this series!!!!! i stopped watching episodes after episode 6 so i relied on your summaries and your takes are amazing 🙏🙏 love your videos so much. keep it up

The ending was so weird, i hated how they literally segregated the girls at the end with 7/8 winners on one side and 1/8 on the other. I thought they would have placed them more strategically for drama but they probably didnt have enough time to spend doing that because it was half of the show’s bedtime, rightfully so, how were those girls even performing that late into the night (energy wise)?? But they could have had places to stand with their names so that they’d be in an exciting announcement order and it wouldn’t be awkward to the live audience. And the set wasn’t interesting either. Nothing about it said ‘ROAD’ to ‘PRISM’ they just walked on a white floor and stood in a circle podium, then a big diamond. Lol.. I also hated that the 2/16 people whose votes were revealed and they did not make it (sunwoo and sumin) didn’t get to say anything. They just quietly shuffled back to their place. But every other eliminated contestant got to speak except for when they mass eliminated 1/2 of the girls early on. I felt bad for sumin because she was standing completely alone after finding out she didnt make it. Definitely one of the weirdest winner reveals ever

I 100% agree with the group name. I was pretty disappointed and my reaction was just, "aaaaaah". And I agree with your 'balanced' line up. It actually make more sense.

This group would be way better if the judges give 1 unicorn debut ticket from each groups from the Unit Station; vocal, visual and performance, and the rest of the 5 can be decided by votes. It would atleast balance the final lineup. imagine there's no one from the performance group debuted hence making this group more like a choir than a kpop group.

Hyeonju is one of my faves but I'm not happy she is debuting with a bunch of kids. Like I'm afraid that concepts are gonna be boring for her and that she won't have much to do besides babysitting the whole group. plus they separated her from sunwoo, they were holding hands during the finale and it broke my heart bc sunwoo was also my fave :(

I think survival show like this have already have a concept ready for the debut members before they start. Then they just have to choose the members that would fit the concept. If you notice none of the performance group have made it to the final line up, that would mean their concept is not going to be a performance based one

I'm a classically trained vocalist, and Elisia was the only contestant on the Camera team who has a strong head voice. Sumin sounds good, but she doesn't get enough air in her upper register and relies on a more nasal tone to support. Just thought I'd put that out there (Sumin is great, though!)

I don't know where Yoona's votes came from....Is she really that popular? (I have a bad feeling her controversies will not end well for her) 4.) Seowon was really the only Korean with a fanbase so she was pushed to debut no matter her age. 5.) At least Yunha and Elisia will be turning 15 soon and Seowon will be turning to 13 at the end of the month but still I don't know who their fanbase will be with those ages?

The amount of vile xenophobia Hyeonju got on the subreddit, people need to keep in mind thst that she was rank 6 in points and 2nd in votes, just because she was announced 8th doesnt mean your fave didnt get in because of her. 1. Like Aya Natsumi , the show themselves never directly stated Hyeonju or natsumi had Filo heritage, the show treated both like a Korean or Japanese contestant. I hope Hyeonju takes her 2.5 years here and gets that bag!

Commercial appeal, fan base, dance techniques and skills executions, voice, communication skills, maturity, unique beauty, star quality, flexibility, intelligent and approachable to deal with questions from fans. All of the selected 8 UNIS have these qualities in them. BUT, Gehlee is the one you would notice first in the group on the stage because of her outstanding facial attributes.

What an underwhelming finale, god... They didn't even sing live (or the backing tracks were waaay loud), the line up announcement was the definition of anticlimactic, and... ugh, idk it wasn't a surprise lineup, the winner of the show was announced last week and the first 7 girls called, they all got in. It was all so unserious, like rushing. I understand the idea of the guest judges to have an uneven panel for votes, but the songs were meh, so it wasn't even interesting. The name is also meh, but at least it's not something hideous, like I'LL IT. What bothers me the most is that the concept of the show had potential, it could have been great, but why be great when you can be mediocre at best, right? I just hope these girls get treated well, they are so young! Even Seowon said HER TEETH WERE STILL GROWING, like.. whatever. Omg, why. Why do I also have a feeling someone could leave this group before the contract is over. Also, I thought since Yunha is the one already signed on to F&F even before this show, that the producers are building the group around her. As much as I loved Haram and Sunwoo, I couldn't shake off the feeling that they'd be too limited by this group--they're too talented to be caged by the limits in concept this group could do, given that the age skews younger. And yes, who is the main dancer? Is it Nana? I am so confused about the positioning in this group. Your dream lineup, I hope to see in some other agency. And your balanced lineup is kind of like my dream lineup.

Seeing as the last survival show I watched was "Dream Maker" (a collab between MLD and PH company ABS-CBN) where Elisia's cousin Marcus debuted, the glaring difference of a finale in DM and UT was so so soooooo jarring. UT had no celebratory moments, no jumping for joy, could have done better in welcoming UNIS too. And can I just say how this show robbed Gehlee of two things too? First, she was 0.2% away from P last week that the announcement of her promotion was expected by everyone even her for sure. SBS robbed her of a great moment lmao. Second, SBS (you sneaky sneak you) announcing the Unicorn Ticketing promotion to say Yunha was second and Nana third (I think Nana was a cover to not make it obvious) also pushed Gehlee to be labelled as fourth placer/member when the SECOND place clearly and rightfully belongs to her. As you said in this vid, SBS didn't expect two Filipino girls to be a highlight of this show and imagine if it had been Eli and Gehlee for first and second... wouldn't really sit well for the show for sure. Sighs.

We have the same feeling actually about the final episode. It wasn't really exciting. I'm kinda disappointed on that. Previous episode performances were better. And yeah, the blatant push of Yunha is really disheartening. If Yunha is really the pick of the unicorns then that is okay but if it was pushed by the producers then it is kind of fucked up. Honestly I don't really understand the hype with Nana and Yunha. I have also seen the videos where they only perform without reactions. And they weren't really super captivating in regards to what the unicorns are always saying. Anyways my personal pick are: Elisia, Gehlee, Seowon, Narumi, Sumin, Nizi I just hope that they would really create a new bop debut song for them and just include the other songs that was created on the show. I want to say, that both Bang Yunha and Lim Seowon are way too overrated by the show 😂. If Yunha didn't get the center part in any battle, her presence would be unnoticeable, she clearly is not that popular judging from the votes. She is a good all-rounder, but honestly, she doesn't have anything that makes her stand out, generic. Lim Seowon, good vocal? Sure, maybe, but again, nothing special. Also another note, does anyone notice that she easily gets a mental breakdown every time she gets criticized or rejected? Also, probably an unpopular opinion, I like Nana a lot, but I think Narumi is a much better all-rounder for the debut team, even though Nana has a stronger star quality. You know what, I think I want both to debut, ideally 😂

If they're going to make another survival show (male edition), HOPEFULLY it's 18+ (preferably 20+) Female fans prefer older male idols It's going to be super weird debuting underage boys 😭😭 Literally no one will support them if that happens

The final line-up seems so predictable to everyone that the contestants didn't even cry when they were called as the debuting members, lol. Maybe the more 'unpredictable' ones were Yoona and Hyeonju, since Sunwoo, Gabi, and Narumi were quite popular too. Also, if I'm really honest, I think Elisia does deserve the first place, as she is so talented and a total all-rounder, but at the same time, she's still so young. I'm concerned about the members being literally children because, seeing how some current group's maknaes receive a lot of hate, I don't want to imagine the hate this group could receive due to their ages.

I liked the final lineup but I had a few problems: -i wanted sumin instead of seowon, we all know how TALENTED sumin is and seowon will have plenty of opportunities to debut when she is OLDER. at least 16. -the group name, no one can deny that it sounds more like a FANDOM name. its boring and forgettable, honestly. P.S.: there are many netizens who think that kotoko should not debut. very well, have ur own opinions but in MY opinion she SHOULD debut. her cuteness can definitely attract a lot of fans along with gehlee's visual. as mentioned in before videos, kotoko adds a punch to these songs that can be really addicting. she also keeps improving

Hyeonju is taking chances since Cignature isnt a best selling group nor well known. People might not even knows the group without people mentioning it through out the show. Also Its the shows problem for taking literal kids to compete. But I agree people chose her to act as their leader more than her singing or dancing skills

Hyeonju, Gehlee and Nana are my only picks that made it :( I really hoped it was Sunwoo, Haram, Sumin and Narumi over Seowon, Kotoko, Yunha and Yoona

The Final announcement was the most boring announcement I have ever seen! UNIS? Really?! That giving me older sister vibes and yet almost all of them are babies.

Being completely objective here, Yunha presence in this last 2 battle is still really weak to me, even though she still got a bunch of parts (clearly she's being pushed for the debut team) 😂. She only shine in rush hour but even then, she's still overshadowed by kim soobin

It's not a name of the group you want to change or and idol you want to change gap bcuz they are to young to be and idol, it's about support fans if they can really buy their album. This is not about talent or name of the group you want to be popular in korea, it's about marketing image if they can success their group.

I didn't realized it was UNIS because I misheard it as UNIT the first time, and I thought it made sense (UNI-verse + T-icket = UNIT). Then, after a few hours, I went back and it was actually UNIS. Perhaps, I need to have my ears cleaned.

yeah once the twelve year old made it into the group i dipped out, i googled who else got to debut and literally had to google who yunah was because i completely forgot about her. my ideal lineup would've been: hyeonju, sunwoo, haram, narumi, yuri, jayla, jinyeong, and yona, but if we were being realistic it would've been: elisia as the youngest, nana, gehlee, hyeonju, kotoko, sunwoo, haram, and narumi. having the twelve year old debut stresses me out, i saw people online saying we might as well support the group since she's already gonna debut, but i refuse to listen to a group where the oldest member is 21 and the youngest is 12, that's just bizarre to me. Poor Hyeonju is gonna be babysitting for 2.5 years

I loved your reactions and reviews of this show and I kept nodding and agreeing to so many of this honestly speaking I might just watch your reviews instead of like 1hr and a half to 2 hour show that sometimes has way too much filler. Also that man in produce saying "Its showtime" cannot be as bad as Taeyeon saying "Queen's Assemble" in Queendom, you could feel she was struggling with that line rofl 😂 Also apparently Yona left GoldDust and now all I feel is pain.
