"I have a 3.8 out of 5, second class upper in mathematics and statistics. I sent a message to my school of interest about my grade and intention, and I received a reply stating, 'with your qualifications, you may be eligible to apply.' The response also mentioned that some applicants with similar credentials were admitted in previous years. However, when I reviewed the program on their website, I noticed that the acceptable CGPA was 4 out of 5, which has left me confused. Could you please offer some advice in this regard?"

Very good of you to inquire. Since they have given you the go ahead I think you can apply. They will normally assign you an academic advisor to help with the process. If I may ask what program and school you’re applying to

I hold higher national diploma in secretaryship and management studies and a Bachelors Degree in Communication studies with 10 years and counting experience as a secretary .i need the international experience for promomorion at work in Ghana. Please this is my advice You can apply for a Post-graduate Diploma program which is in line with the one you studied in your BSc. However you can also apply for a completely different diploma program from the one you have previously studied in your BSc Note Always make it clear in your letter of explanation why the change of program And Career in the future If it's not clear let me know

Most of the top ranking universities in Canada requires a gpa of 4 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and admissions can be quite competitive. Reach out to the school admissions team first before applying

63% is equal to 2.52 on 4.0 GPA SCALE. Always compare this with the schools website

Yes I think I understand your question 2. With regards to your admission, you have to contact the schools admission first before paying any application fee to apply for admission 2. Most of the scholarship will be available to you after you have enrolled and its usually based on performance have answered your question

I have a CGPA of 3.0 out of 4, and I am interested in pursuing a master's degree in Canada. However, the university websites and course details state that the minimum requirement is a CGPA of B+. I am unsure whether I am eligible with this cgpa or not ? and if universities make adjustments for a lower CGPA in the case of thesis-based master's programs.

You are eligible. But first choose the program, then see which Universities offer that program. Check the requirements, and then send emails to universities which accept 3.0 GPA. You might have a chance getting in a University if you have work experience in the same field you want to apply for Masters, or under special consideration. Special consideration can be that you might need to do a few courses to show your eligibility. It is not however end of story.

@@ecruise First of all, thank you very much for your reply. I am from Turkey. The reason why my high school diploma score is low is 46.43 in all the exams that I did not take during the corona period. I usually get 73, 82 points in the exams, but I still did not give up. They told me that universities in Canada will not accept you. They said that Canada requires a diploma grade of around 80, but I was a little sad. I didn't stop, I always worked, I continued to work. I wish people knew the value of reading.

A minister in our country called Ziya Selçuk gave 35 credit courses 46.43 to students in exams they did not take during the corona period and my diploma grade decreased.

Manitoba university requires minimum 3.0 GPA for admission in masters.

Not sure most unis require 3.0 gpa for masters but you can study a post Graduate Certificate or diploma in some Universities with 2.2
