Personally, I would’ve taken the Burke Gilman Trail from University Village and then gone up the ave, however, you seemed to zip up the 45th viaduct no problem. Thank you for sharing and by the way, what bike are you riding?

What a great ride and Blast from the Past. The Ave has really changed. I visited back in 2016' and many stores have left. Safeway relocated down past University Village. It used to be where the Farmer's Market is today. NE 45th drive was great. I used to live down by the Frats, so this brought back a lot of memories. Thanks.

Used to be with my mom and brother at u village washing blankets and eating donuts in 1980. Nice to see QFC is still there. I wonder if burgermeisters is still across the street or if baskin robbins is still under the bridge just up the road. Man.. so many memories.

Thank you. Really well-organized video. I'm guessing you knew the area well enough and planned this out. At least it seems that way with the Chapters. How is the parking along University Way where most of the restaurants are? Can you usually find a spot?
