Thanks for subbing! When looking to transfer, many schools have the option on their school website to see if your grades are eligible to transfer into your desired program before you make the decision to switch. If your grades meet all the requirements, you can apply to transfer when they begin accepting applications. Should your grades not be at their desired level at that moment, you can work another year to better your grades and/or take the classes you need to take and apply that following year. Many universities have courses that overlap between programs where you can stay in that program but still work towards getting into your desired program. In your case, you can remain in arts, and take the required nursing courses before needing the acceptance in the nursing program. That way, once you are in nursing, you've already taken those courses! Of course, be sure to check in with your university to make sure this is an option!
