The University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine (UoG) has established FEEPASS (Facilitated Early Entry Program for Animal Science Students) between the Department of Animal Sciences and the UoG School of Veterinary Medicine. After three years of study at The Ohio State University (OSU), Animal Sciences students accepted into this program will enroll in year 1 of the 5-year BVMS program at the UoG, while continuing as candidates for the B.S. degree at OSU. At the end of the education abroad period of study (i.e. year 1 at the UoG), students are eligible for completion of the B.S. degree through OSU. Successful completion of year 1 in the UoG BVMS program will also allow for accelerated entry to year 2 of the UoG BVMS program.
The intended learning outcomes for the year of study at the UoG include the integration of the structure and function of animal systems, foundational knowledge of health disease, and application of scientific principles to real world scenarios.
This program normally runs from September through June.
