This is a video walking tour of the University of Oregon campus in Eugene, Oregon. U of O is a public research university founded in 1876. The scenic 295-acre campus is situated along the Willamette River and occupies over 80 buildings. The campus is an arboretum consisting of 500 species of trees. In total, there are over 3,000 tress on campus (I counted). The university is divided into nine colleges and schools and offers 316 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Over 22,000 students attend Oregon. The university has adopted the nickname "University of Nike" because Nike's founder, Phil Knight, is a graduate and has also donated hundreds of millions of dollars to both academic and athletic facilities. Many buildings on campus and surrounding areas were featured in the film National Lampoon's Animal House. Thanks for watching! Please LIKE, SHARE, and SUBSCRIBE! I appreciate you!
