Uniview's compact PTZ lineup includes a standard PTZ (IPC672LR-AX4DUPK), an active deterrence PTZ (IPC672LR-AX4DUPKC), and a lighter pan & tilt model (IPC672LR-ADUPKF40). The Pan & Tilt model (DISCONTINUED) is almost exactly like the classic PTZ. The difference is there is no Z. It has a 4mm fixed lens. It also has a shorter IR distance (98' instead of 164'). Other than that, it has all the same incredible specs and features.

Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even kzfaq.infoUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.

We were so impressed with the video we want to test the camera, so we purchased one. Problem #1, its 100% plastic. Its going to be a great camera for about a year. 2-3 years in the sun we doubt it will be operational. But the sales video is cool.

Where can you enable the white led spotlight for this camera? I have the "lights" box checked under the intelligent section and I assume that is for the red/blue light. I'm looking to enable the led spotlight.

for basic reliable auto tracking and night which is better and why between this PTZ model and your 4MP PTZ Camera w/ Auto Tracking? this is for use at home in the drive way with neighbors close buy. also do you think the ptz without strobes is better in residential areas eg actually attract people to break in due to the strobes and more aggressive look etc also how much small is this unit compared to 4MP PTZ Camera w/ Auto Tracking?

I wish I knew about your company 5 years ago when I started buying cameras. I have 3 and want to get another soon. I have no problem running wires and getting them up and running. Your video did an excellent job explaining some of the interface settings and that's where I need help. The company I bought them from will make all the adjustments I want but don't have a manual or time to teach me. It's a big ask but do you think you would ever make a video explaining ALL the settings in the interface? Also, if I bought a camera from you would it work with my system. I am using a 4 port NVR and all my cameras are POE. I don't know how busy you are but I wouldn't mind calling and chatting with you. Thanks

Hy. i love your videos and tank u for your answers... i have a problem with my uniview 5 mp ptz camera... it's auto resetting... it's works for 10 month without any problem..but now ~ weekly its resset it self..i need too reset passwords ..adjust ..share...its like new taken out of box... sorry for my bad English..tanku

@@NellysSecurity Cool! Do you know if it's possible to turn off the strobe light but still have the visible spotlight working on motion activation? Also interested to know if any of your Mac using customers have found a way to use this camera with just a POE switch (ie. no NVR) and still have access to motion recordings on the SD card? Do you recommend EZStation VMS or is there a better option? (I'm assuming that Safari won't afford full functionality since it never does.)

Sounds like a power delivery issue if its shutting down at night and the lights are kicking on. You may look into the switch that it is plugging into to make sure that it is still able to power the PTZ properly as these deterrent PTZs do require POE+.

Hello...i have the 5 mp mini ptz model...auto tracking activated and tracking you but after a few second its goose back to home position...what i need to change? home position time those not changing it ...and also I can't set audio alarm and light alarms when auto track in on..and what is One key Shield linkage ..? tank u !!!!

Hello, We've made a good general guide on setting up auto tracking here -> support.nellyssecurity.com/hc/en-us/articles/4414006287771-How-To-Enable-PTZ-Smart-Tracking i would make sure that you have the "Max. Tracking Time" longer or set it to continuously track. With Continuous Tracking, The camera keeps tracking the object until it disappears, and then returns to the original position. One-Key Shielding Linkage - for disabling input / output alarms or email alerts triggered over appointed period of time.

Also, the fact that 2-way audio cameras, affordable with great image quality are rarer than unicorns is a problem. I want all the features a wireless system offers in a wired system.

Thank you for the review. It seems when connected independently without any NVR, the camera cannot be viewed on mobile network 4g or 5g in the mobile app ios or android. On broadband can be seen on mobile app when connected to WiFi. Please Any solution or must be connected to a NVR to view in mobile app?

The cam has a flaw it can be interrupted if a frequency on its same is transmitted stronger. It should be shielded inside with a Faraday cage. Rear view or one facing a dome shaped rmirror so it has. 360 view.

Yes you can have just the strobe light activated. The audible sound can be disabled. They are independant to eachother.

Idk if I should get a combo of these or the r series. I am also debating reolink for their cloud capabilities. . Do you recommend one operating system over the other? I also need one to be wireless ip function bc my garage is detached. So itt cannot be POE

@@NellysSecurity yes. I’m going to give you a call in a little while. I would like the unv inside wifi ptz, possibly the tri guard bullet or ptz defender. You are sold out of r series ptz mini. I need detached garage (power source inside), 3 home entries and corridor coverage. Adt sensors have been hacked and have someone breaking in daily. Would love to mix unv and r series mini tho.

I had a. surveillance systems installer tell me I have to have a static IP address from my ISP, since mine is dynamic, in order to use the remote type functions on my NVR. My ISP wants $25 extra a month for the static IP. Surely there is a way to get around this requirement of a static IP address, keeping all the functions of my NVR? I just don't know what options there is.

It really depends on the system but you can use Cloudp2p (no fees) for remote viewing, no static IP needed at all.

@@NellysSecurity Thank you for replying to my comment. I did some research and most NVR manufacturers offer a free DDNS service, making a static IP address unnecessary. I assume the Cloudp2p is a DDNS service. I figure my installer is just not very knowledgeable about his systems and unfamiliar with options. I wished I lived closer to a company with employees, such as Nelly's Security, that knew what they are doing. I have gone down the rabbit hole trying to get a wired system that I know will function fully without spending heaps of money. I would love to see a company with a website that you can choose what you want and it double checks for compatibility with all components (custom system from offered hardware). It asks me a few questions about my ISP setup and confirms it works together. The site then gives a price for getting the system and shipped. Finally, the site provides information on quality installs in my area and scedules install date and time. This would all be for residential customers. I surmise a lot more residential customers would purchase wired systems if the process was so much simpler.

For plug n play you definitely want to use Uniview NVR. What did you not like about them, we have always heard positive reviews from our customers.

@@NellysSecurity more specifically, which NVR of them, I've used the 301s they are dog slow (I come from the Ubiquiti ecosystem so I'm used to, well a bit more responsiveness) So rephrase, what is the minimum Uniview NVR model to have a smooth experience with this and does the PTZ functionality work in the EZview app?

Certain settings have to be setup directly at the camera which can be accessed via the NVR.

not the best reply. you need to download and install 2 apps on your computer, eziview and internet explorer, after installing both open up eziview and you should see your nvr click the internet explorer icon and webpage will open to the login page, once logged in go to setup-camera and click access for the paticular camera you want to log in to. from there you can see the webpage this guy is using.

You'll need to log into the PTZ directly from a local PC. Then once you are in the PTZ's web interface, you'll have access to configure the auto tracking and the light control.

It can! However if you use our UNV Joystick, the PTZ must be connected to an NVR, then the Joystick will be controlling the NVR per say. Hence allowing PTZ Control. The UNV Joystick cannot control the PTZ standalone.

I was excited looking at the video of this camera and thought i had found "The one", can`t wait to see the nighttime video and yep just like 90% of all security cameras they cannot do a good job of recognizing a person clearly 13:00. if that person did some damage to a car etc. would anyone be able to see what this person was wearing let alone a face shot !. Question, being most crimes happen at nighttime why don`t they have better job when it counts ? clearly showing someone's face during dark hours ? Can you recommend a camera that will be able to see a face at 100 feet at night please ...Anyone?...Anyone?

If the Lorex NVR supports ONVIF, then technically yes. Just note that with ONVIF, the PTZ will not be plug n play and must be manually added. Also, ONVIF only guarantees a live view and 24/7 recording.

can you please help answer my question please sir 🤔 I have this camera "IPC6322SR-X33UP-D" ->>> it goes into ->>> NVR302-16S2-P16 ->>>HDMI OUT ->>> HDMI SWITCHER ->>> HDMI SPLITTER/EXTENDER IP OVER ETHERNET (ACTING AS TX) ->>> MULTIPLE HDMI IP OVER ETHERNET RX ->>> HDMI INs MULTIPLE TVs. The problem .. On the end device (multiple TVs), is showing that the IP Camera is low frame (low fps). Even though when I checked on the UI > Camera > Encoding settings > Main Stream and Sub Stream showing as 1080p at 25fps. The question.. Is it possible that the hdmi extender over ip is causing the low fps or is it always the UI Settings misconfigured when it comes to low fps? Please help troubleshooting the ROOT CAUSE of this low fps issue. 😥

Hey there! Hard to say exactly what the issue is. We generally don't advise using so many HDMI splitters / switchers. Are all of the splitters externally powered by chance? I would see if you could connect a test monitor at each splitter to see how it looks every step of the way.

The Framerate is low no matter where you hook up a monitor? What if you view the cameras from a PC, are they the same there as well? What if you connect a monitor right to the back of the NVR and rule out all splitters and extenders?

It's a 1080p camera, which is around 2MP. This isn't a 5MP camera.
