@@joaocarvalho9983 Not all, there are good ones from other places too, like Thee Oh Sees, Mild High Club, Skinshape, Crumb and Kikagaku Moyo. But Australia and New Zealand seem to be a hot spot for this new psychedelic rock.

Hunderworld DHMIS people made the music video for 'Swim and Sleep' for these guys. Its awesome, there are several nods to the DHMIS series throughout the music video

Their sound has evolved so much. "So Good At Being In Trouble" sounds so much more laid back and jazzy than it did when I saw them in Boston in 2013. Love it!

Seen then play live last night and they were absolutely phenomenal. As good as the records are, their live sound right now blows the albums right out the water. I desperately hope the guy on keys, Quincy Mccrary, becomes a permanent member as he's utterly mindblowing. He gels so well and adds so much that listening to UMO without Quincy now feels like listening to the Beatles without George. If you like this band on record, you will love them live.

UMO got soul and balls. Tamimpala got shiny success. UMO's shows sound like inspired live music, Tamimpala'shows sound like money maker playback routine.

I miss Julien Ehrlich, their old drummer . New one is good as well but the last guy just had a presence about him and a hip hop influenced drumming style that I loved. I remember seeing them in a little venue in Dallas a couple years ago when it was just the 3 of them and having a couple of drinks with Jake Portrait, the bassist, before and after the show. They were all coked out of their minds, haha. Memory is kinda hazy cause I was fucked up as well. Good times.

I liked "Necessary Evil" alright on the album, but this live version put it in my top 3 favorites of UMO.
