Welcome to the Peri Pool Arena in Hanoi, Vietnam!
I was there in November 2023 for the Peri Open Nine Ball Championship and stayed after for a week to enjoy Hanoi.
This is a practice session at the Peri Pool Arena. Gorgeous place, no smoking or vaping either!

I have seen from videos, i see that many pool hall in the US have Diamond and Apex pool tables. Are those pool hall in the US more expensive to play than this Hanoi pool hall? I mean how much for an hour of playing

Max you shoot with your back hand way in the back of the cue. Do you recommend us holding the cue that way?

My arms are very long I’m 5’10” but my wingspan is 6’1” so it all depends on your arm length and body direction…. The more you face the shot the closer you hold the cue to the front

I miss playing pool with Aaron! Used to play a Friday night tournament at High Society Billiards and Aaron was always a top player to beat. We battled it out on the pool table quite a few times.

What do you do if you miss? Rerack or practice problem shot? Do you practice safeties and kicks?

Usually set it up and shot it in a few times... yes I recommend the book Pro Safties by Bob Henning... on bebob-publishing.com and work on my kicks sometimes with Italian 9 pin

Can't remember the cost of time but mid day it's 50% off and that's when the place is packed with a waiting list.

Orignal price was about $8 for diamond, and $4 for peri table.

He plays with a custom cue made in Chicago. Go back to his first video from PERI Hanoi for the cuemakers name. I only remenber he said that the gentlemen past away not long ago. Hope this helps.

This is a Scott Gracio custom cue with an Optimus shaft by Harold Prine, and normally a meucci break cue but with the matchroom cut break I just use my playing cue...
