Engineer's taunt is peak

...I like how this Taunt actually captures the personality of each class very well. ...It is kind of funny that _Scout's_ reaction is surprisingly reserved considering his regular personality... Then again, Scout's "Rage" feels like a fan of a baseball team being frustrated that their team lost... _Again._ ...So still pretty fitting.

I can finally express my anger ingame whenever that one Scout steals the medkit in 2fort sewers

I don't get why some people dislike this. It's perfect. Btw, its ironic that the Medic, the energetic maniac, has the most calmest rage ever and then Engie's just pure opposite.

I love how you animated Medic taking his glasses off. Anyone who wears them (like me) and takes them off in a frustrating situation is how you really express your feelings. “I’m so mad I don’t want to see the problem right now”

I'm really loving the direction we're going with taunts, instead of the 30th stupid goofy vehicle taunt or a 'sitting' taunt, these are actual taunts that let players express their emotions. Seriously, this is such a breath of fresh air.

Scout - Having 124 hp Soldier - Getting killed by airblast Pyro - Being called a furry Demo - When no scrumpy Heavy - Random teammate stealing sandvich Engie - Buildings getting sapped during 20 sec respawn Medic - Being left dying Sniper - Being called a bot Spy - Missing backstab/Gets spychecked

I’m quite baffled Valve accepted all of Steaky’s expression taunts, but still haven’t accepted the facepalm which shares as much expressions as the others :c

Pyros is just pure adorable

I love how the three shortest classes - Pyro, Engineer, and Scout - stomp their feet, like they're kids throwing tantrums. I know they're all grown adults, but it's just adorable.

I feel like Spy's rage taunt will be used at the spawn room... A LOT

Scout- when half of the enemy team are engineers and sentries are everywhere on the map. Soldier- when the crocket/roamer bomb got denied by a well timed air blast. Pyro-when the soldier he kept reflecting rockets back at swapped to heavy/sniper and killed him. Demo-the enemy scout keeps bullying him the entire match Heavy-when sniper and spy keep bullying him the entire match Engie-when your sentry gets sapped before you respawn, and you had the frontier justice equipped. Medic-when you had full uber and you dropped it. Sniper-when the enemy team is using battalions to counter the most broken class. Spy-when anything kills him/when his epic trickstab failed in the most embarrassing way possible.

Finally, another taunt where Medic takes off his glasses. (The other being when the medic loses in rock, paper, scissors)

Now we need the confuse taunt that mercs seeing supernatural things😂

If you're still working on this, I'd suggest adding a bit more anger, like genuine RAGE, to each of the classes. Especially for the Heavy and Soldier. Thanks for making this, it's a nice concept.

Finally I can express my anger as an Engineer when that one Spy just won't fuck off.

Imagine how truly *alive* the matches will be with that being another taunt. You will be able to express every emotion in game to the point of it looking like a crudely made machinima. You would not only play WITH the characters, but play THE characters. You won't even need a voice comm at this point.

Now this should be in the game. Though I feel some of them could be improved, engi and pyro just look the same.

I hope Pyro will get a better ones, cos ALL the damn time they represent him as a cutie-patotie. I want all Rage of a mentally ill pyromaniac and not just some little frustration. My idea: He doesn't Rage at all, he stares in the soul and breaths heavily(there is a sound of Pyro actually breathing in his Mask). And as he breaths, he clenched his fists, which makes a sound of his gloves. That is a Pyro I want to see/hear. He's like that one Quiet Kid, but instead of bringing AK-47, he brings some gasoline.

It is almost perfect, but... their emotions to anger needs to be stronger I believe.

I feel like Soldier should throw his helmet on the ground. Maybe it could get stuck, and soldier rips it out and puts it back on his head, with an accompanied sound effect. Just something to spice up the animation variety. Side note: Spy's animation is PERFECT for that voice line.

I like that while most of the Mercs look straight ahead/are expressing their anger mostly to themselves, Medic's taunt appropriately has him looking around and addressing the people nearby, because 99% of the situations that piss off a medic involve your own team letting you down or fucking around, so of course his anger is aimed at them

Above other mercs, heavy and soldier got some heat in their taunts. Just imagine both of them taunting at each other and than starts anime-ass fist fight somewhere at 2fort bridge, hilarious (Eng isn't my main language, sorry for possible mistakes.)

hmm, i'd imagine the tf2 classes pretty angry considering they're deranged mercinaries, yet the animation doesn't really capture it. I just have to go with my gut on this. I am interested on where this is going though.

Engie's and Pyro's taunts are cute and cool, with cartoonish expressivness :3 Soldier's taunt is basic, it feels like regular taunt from melee weapons or direct hit. It's actually pretty hard to do a new rage taunt for him. He's rage itself x) Demoman, Sniper, Spy and Heavy look quite the same - just clenching/half-clenching fists, there's lack of expressivness, distinctiveness. Medic's and Scout's is okay, at least they differentiate from others, but still look somewhat stiff. Sadly, I don't figure out how to do it better...maybe it needs more broad gesticulation, a little bit faster in some places. I'm very grateful for your Mourning Mercs taunt :D Thank you for your work, you're doing awesome stuff for us, players. Wish you all the best 🌠
