being fit helps, not gonna lie, but also if I panicked and went like Tim did (thanks Tim!!), I would have lost 100% of the time. people panic and make bad decisions all the time, I see it constantly in submitted footage. Timing/position are critical to win. doesn't matter if you're mark cavendish, if you're coming out of the last corner in 30th wheel you lose.

Wow! Great move.. I have forgotten about Alviso, was the mid 80s when I raced there. I remember it being windy all the time. Seeing this video makes me think how similar the course is to ones I raced in Italy back in the day.. 😊

it's pretty chill because it's mostly companies there and it's out of the way, so the car traffic is minimal. it also links up to quite a few trails in the area so there's some good riding.

@@sknkwrksowner I didn't record it... Wasn't much to see, I couldn't keep up, because most of the opponent's where 1 year older than me. And because I simply didn't have the punch to follow. My max heart rate was 7 higher than the previous max... Riding in the peleton was fun tho, just a shame it was at 50km/h most of the time

U r really good at sprinting. Positioning timing composure. My adreline was pumping when u were about to hit that last tail wind line like dude how is gonna catch them. U caught them. Passed them. Prop for terun guy for sprinting fast af too tho. Gave u the bird I would too if I thot I was gonna take the W and like last 2 seconds here comes your ass AGAIN! I love it. I'm not a racer because it looks pretty dangerous. I have no health insurance and if I crash can't afford another bike. But man u guys all get good training and it's all for bettering urselevs it's not like prize money or anything. Very cool Jeff very cool! Tampa FL Daniel

I'm assuming if you didn't know the competition so well and or the course, you would've played that breakaway a little closer? I mean Tim really did his part and you sealed the deal, but with 1 to go, I'm usually way too nervous to watch a breakaway up the road that far .....Great patience and of course killa Sprint 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
