Welcome to the channel! In this video, I'm thrilled to present the winning deck list from this past week at Myrtle Beach Games. Prepare to witness the speed of Leia Organa in this deck. This is my winning Leia deck list and I'm glad to talk about the list. I'll also be showing off a couple matches to show off the decks speed and combo potential... I Hope you guys enjoy the list.
I'm excited to bring you guys content focused around a new card game Star Wars Unlimited... Myself along with my friend Matt will be bringing a ton of videos surrounding Star Wars Unlimited including battles, tiers list, deck list profiles, pack openings and card talks (where we will just be discussing cards and our thoughts about them)...

Leia Red and Leia Green are both stronger than people will anticipate. If you’re running Leia Red, you need both Bombing Run and Ackbar! Bombing Run in case you’re outnumbered/facing alot of sentinels as you can easily redeploy fast. And Ackbar when you’re outnumbering to KO something big and have your other cards focus on base. And Bright Hope Ackbar again!

As someone pointed out in my Leia Deck Tech, you cannot use Bright Hope to return a space unit, but it is a great card nonetheless. Great deck!

Bright hope can’t send back wing leader to the hand. It can only send back ground units.

Leia is heavily underrated. I didn’t know the Sabine unit could split damage. I thought if you attacked the base you could do 1 more to it and if you attacked a unit (defender) you could do 1 more to it.

So the card reads that on attack you can do damage to a defender or to a base. I believe that to mean that you can do an extra damage to a defender if you’re attacking a unit or if you’re attacking a unit you can do the 1 to the base as well. That being said if you’re attacking the base you can do an extra damage to the base, but because you didn’t chose a unit to attack there is no defender. If I’m wrong there I apologize, but I believe that’s how it works

u can split to a base if u attack a defender but not a defender if u attack a base

@@Hannonz oh ok so that makes sense. You can attack a defender and then deal one more to it or to a base but if you attack the base it’s only one more to the base because there is no defender.

Nice. I'm really liking the non-red variants of Leia. My personal favorite is Blue Leia. I'm just not convinced that she's at her best in an aggro shell

would you consider a part 2 showing the full match so us new to playing the game get the idea how to play the decks cheers keep up the grate work

I will definitely show a full best of 3 matchup going forward. So you can see how the sideboard swaps work and adjustments you might need to make during the matches. Thank you for the feedback I really appreciate it 😃

Great video, thanks for uploading. I did have a question though, do shields block effect damage such as say "Open Fire" or "Tarkintown" or does the damage bypass the shield.

Yes shields block those damage effects. They don’t stop cards like vanquish, take down and power of the dark side though because those events just defeat units rather than deal damage

Hey great video. Loved the gameplay stuff. Is the no legendaries a choice because you didn't need any, or because you didn't have what you wanted ? If you were going to add legendaries what would they be in that case? Many thanks :)

Neither Leia or Sabine tend to use any legendaries. There aren’t really that fit with aggro decks.

How do you feel about your list vs the one that Thorrk's Hot Takes posted?

I have not seen his list, but I’m sure they’re pretty similar. Adding battlefield marines into my deck list over a couple other cards would be the way to go which is in the link. But I’ll check out his list when I get a chance, but I feel like for the most part Leia decks are quite similar

What were those match ups? Like 7 - 8 minutes long? I think these were the quickest SWU games I've watched so far.

They were just one game of the best of three for each matchup. I’m probably going to include a best of three matchup in these videos to show the sideboard switches as well.

Is it good against green Sabine? Which decks are better against green Sabine? Thanks.

I personally think it’s good against Sabine Green, but also they’re both aggro so it’s whichever just does the damage first. In a matchup against aggro you might want to throw in some removal to combat against the speed of the other deck.

11:17 Couldn’t you have hit the base and use the 1 damage to hit his big 3/1 unit, keeping Sabine alive to soak up more dmg?

Sabine can’t split the damage when attacking the base, only when attacking a unit. If she attacks the base the extra damage has to go to the base

I agree that the marines are good and better suited for the deck. Just threw in the sympathizers based on what I was seeing in my local scene. The marines in place of them is better suited for what the deck does though I’ll agree on that

What is sideboard? The rules don't say Anything about it (at least I think so)

Basically it’s a ten card set of cards that you can swap into your deck that might help you in certain matchups, but you might not feel need to be played all the time
