For an insomniac, the days drag on and the nights are to fast (this probably isn't the reason at all, it's probably because the term nightcore came first I think and people named it nightcore to be cool and daycore is the opposite of it so people just stuck with it. I don't know the real reason so I'm just guessing)

I see many people saying that nightcore is bad or just shit (not necessarily here but on most daycore videos) In my eyes both it good both has its quirks but i generally speak for all here when i say both variants are generally better than the original
