The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U video game consoles. It is the 19th main installment in the The Legend of Zelda series. The story is set in Hyrule and follows amnesiac protagonist Link, who awakens from a 100-year slumber to a mysterious voice that guides him to defeat Calamity Ganon.
The title's gameplay and mechanics constitute a departure from the series' conventions, featuring an open-world environment, a detailed physics engine, high-definition visuals, voice acting, and the ability to play through the game's dungeons in any order. Announced in 2013, the game was initially planned for release as a Wii U exclusive in 2015, but was delayed twice prior to its release on 3 March 2017. great exploit. I actually recommend turning the date backwards instead, that way you can just activate online sync again and it works as usual. otherwise future dates you will not be able to use the amiibo

True. I’m getting mine for 30 dollars tomorrow. That’s a steal. The figurine itself costs a good amount. And now the price is going way up. Today, I just checked and the wolf link amiibo costs a whopping 170 dollars! But if we’re being truthful, the amiibo function is like $2. Can’t wait to get and upgrade my divine helms, get the twilight bow, wolf link, the tunics, epona, and many more!

You can also progress backwards and do the same thing. In fact, it's probably a good idea to go backwards instead of forwards because that way you don't lock yourself out of the amiibo the next day

Just a quick note, I was able to get TWICE the loot from a single amiibo, such as twice the mushrooms/food and two chests. Thing is, I was only able to do it once, as I am trying to replicate it again. Even though I'm having trouble figuring it out, I just want to let you guys know that the glitch exists. *SIDE NOTE* I believe there was a split second of game lag when I did the glitch.

Same exploit from Animal Crossing back in the day on Gamecube. I time traveled...all the time with the settings clock. But hadn't tried this because I never bought a single Amiibo, but had this theory in which you proved. I collect different plastic crack btw, such as Transformers. Thanks for putting up a video on this.

Finn Marr-Heenan it can't get patched, because as far as the game is conserned it's still only allowing the amiibo one use per day. The only way to remove time traveling would be to remove some features from the wiiu and Switch, though it doesn't make sense for Nintendo to do that

it took me a bit for her to actually spawn. from what I could tell is there is like a % chance for her to drop. But smash link amiibo will also give you the twilight gear. So it's gonna happen but it might take a bit. I did the date trick to keep scanning.

I definately think this vid is awesome. The exploit itself looks cool and pretty broken itself. But because it's just a soft reset it doesn't seem too bad because people could have switched the date any way and done the same thing so it's not like it's game breaking, mostly just helpful. Good on you though Austin for finding this exploit it was really neat. Love the vids, keep up the good work.

ImHazra the game is amazing and I recommend if you can buy it. don't be scared to get it on Wii U, the most noticable thing for me was fps drops. it is 720p not 900p like the switch, but still amazing game either way

there is a way you can spoof amiibos, (which is technically stealing, but nintendo does not mind.) I spoofed all the BotW ones that would give me the rare unique items. payed $5 for all the amiibos reply back if you need advice

Again it is technically stealing, piracy, so you have to make peace with that, morally and/or legally. I'm not promoting it either! I'm just gonna direct you how to do it, it is up to yourself if you want to do it yourself! Simple instructions: Buy NFC tags online. You can buy them from ebay for about $5 for 10. Then find the amiibo files online, download them and transfer each amiibo file to a NFC tag. That is simple instructions. fyi, you need an NFC writing hardware, so either a modern android phone, or you have to buy a specific NFC writing piece of hardware. (still cheaper than buying every amiibo) It's not hard to get the full instructions on how to get the amiibo files, just google: amiibo spoof instructions. but here is a pretty in depth instruction: www.reddit.com/r/Amiibomb/comments/5ywlol/howto_the_easy_guide_to_making_your_own_amiibo/ I made a spoof of all the unique gear BotW amiibos, just to get the gear and it cost me only a few £ (i'm U.K) took me quite a while to grind dates to get all the gear, but worth it if you really like this game. good luck bro

The soft reset gets rid of what you just got, but let's you try again. Just make sure the save you are loading was before you scanned the Amiibo
