My advice on Hard mode: 1. Use gambits, ESPECIALLY for the feature that causes affected enemies to be immobilized. The DLC throws a ton of enemies at you and you are not going to be able to clear them all in one turn. 2. Learn to defeat monsters efficiently - using a combart art with monster effectiveness will break that shield area and stun the monster. For monsters with lower overall hp, breaking just a single tile at a time then hitting the exposed areas as they are stunned is often more effective. For high HP monsters I still recommend using gambits to go for the full break. 3. Change your character loadouts often for the situation. For example Edelgard has other advanced classes unlocked, if you keep her as an armor knight during certain missions she will fall behind. Another example is that Yuri has very low base HP and by default his HP+5 skill is not equipped. By all means switch out his White Magic proficiency skill with it if you have no intention of attacking with Nosferatu on him. And then that includes equipment, if you see a lot of armored units? Purchase an armorslayer for Byleth. You can even swap Yuri’s hero relic to other characters as needed to give them +1 move and Canto and that leads to a lot of powerful options.

Slobertooth 13 You still do, but you cannot even see them at the Influencer until chapter 13.

I feel like that why it took 8 to 10 hours to beat the side story so you can go back to the main campaign and get the rest of the goodies in my opinion so after the you complete the cindered shadow then the real treat begins when you start the main story again in my opinion

I recommend playing the DLC after beating the Main Game at least once, so that you can an understanding on some relationships in Cindered Shadows.

NiLink NoLa you get 10 000 renown for beating Cindered Shadows and you get the bonus item [SPOILERS] chalice of begginings which lets you counter from any range (i think it’s limited to 5 spaces tho???). You get these things in your room in the monastery. I don’t know if the spent renown recycles in new game+ but if the Saint statues keep the renown for every new game+ then i believe the spent renown will also be in Abyss facilities.

My question was if you could get something more for beating Cindered Shadows more than once, like another 10k renown. Thank you for your theorie on the facilities tho!

NiLink NoLa Oh sorry, i read the question wrong, I don’t think you get more renown for beating it again since you already get 10k and the chalice and you get it in every single playthrough like if you beat Cindered Shadows then you get it in all your non-finished save files

It doesnt really Matter. I would go into the abyss via the side story before you start the next playthrough. Its not an option in the normal game, it just enhances your game of you beat the sidestory.

sparkle wonder I suggest completing Cindered Shadows first and then complete your next route, that way you can obtain the new characters, classes, etc. to use in your next route. Just a suggestion :)

You can only recruit the ashen wolves during part 1 as said in the video, they start showing up in abyss during chapter 2. Unfortunately, you can’t get the ashen wolves that late into the game.

I actually completed the side story on the final week of the main game. That way you can sell EVERYTHING that doesn't carry over to NG+ and get a massive surplus of renown at the start of the game to play with (I got 60k+ renown).

The main game is divided into two parts. Part 1, then Part 2 (war arc/timeskip). If you HAVEN'T recruited the Ashen Wolves by the time you hit Part 2, you lose them for the rest of the run.

@@jaspermanuel524 The "first part" is the first 12 chapters of the game before the first major event (I don't want to spoil anything). As long as you start the DLC and get the new students you'll have them in Part 2.

It‘s actually not that hard, I made it on classic too and its my second fire emblem game only. The escaping is really easy, though the second last fight was a bit of a hassle, had to restart twice or so
