What all did you have to do to get it scheduled? I tried looking it up but most places want you to take their practice tests and study guides. What are the prerequisites to get to the point to schedule the part 107? Is it all thru FAA website? Thanks in advance.

Yes you can. If you fly backwards from the subject you zoom in at the same time. Alternatively you can fly towards and zoom out. Takes a bit of getting used to 😅 have fun thanks 🙏

@@nobby-green I just crashed and snapped a rear arm, a new replacement drone is coming tomorrow, I was videoing a viaduct near some pilons and trying stay above a tall tree clipped a cable, don't know if it shorted the drone out for a second but it dropped and tumbled down on to concrete, the little voice in my head said dont fly it here....... I didn't listen 😂

Why this interest in waypoints? Who wants to watch videos showing the same flight over and over again? Watching waypoint videos for almost a year numerous reports exist about just pure bugs, drone descending without reason etc. Waypoint flying and radio signal lost... Is that according to the rules? I can't believe it is. Self driving cars are questioned more and more and DJI has not proved to be a better autonomous flight designer. Just did some special flights in a limited space. That's drone flying, not "auto flying". But... I know the interest... Go on Nobby! Dolly zoom.... The charm of drone flying would be do it manually! Not programming a robot. I've programmed machines my entire life... No way I send my Mavic 3 pro out on any waypoint experiment.... The most interesting is to do the flying as intended and record what's available. Next flight, adjustments, new approach.

I take it Waypoints is not one of your favorite features 😀 I would like somebody to show me how to fly that particular waypoint mission including the dolly zoom at the same time (Not the straight dolly zoom). Virtually impossible! I haven't experienced any problems with height descends etc yet, Maybe those that did didn't set the global setting correctly? As for autonomous flights yes they are allowed including signal loss. It will complete, then RTH or back to the start point which ever you set. Nothing wrong in manual flying as most of us do 99% of the time. Thanks for the comments and watching.

@@nobby-green You got me correct! As I fly quite a lot above large lakes, above water, unexpected difficulties are scary. Did fly Sports mode into tree tops once but could "Find my drone" climbing an impossible hill. Never again and certainly not over unfamiliar territories. I didn't study the details in Your video so no claim I'll do it manually. Did fly manually around an old castle but aborted, shortened, the flight due to horses. Published 17 May.. What the mistakes were in those descending waypoint flights I don't really know. One guy suspected too sharp turning. Yes, RTH will save the drone, unless it goes submarine... I use Waypoints for long continous smooth shot, not possible manually
