Today I'm taking a look at the new Unlocked LVL LED Light Up Gaming Microphone from Five Below. This mic is part of Five Below's new budget gaming brand and comes in at $5.55. It comes with RGB LEDs, a detachable stand, and a much appreciated combo audio adapter.
And yes, there is a mic sound test in this video.

Thanks for this video I was a bit leery getting this one from Five Below but ended up purchasing because of this video and absolutely love it. Sounds way better than a gaming mic I got on Amazon for $30 that I have been using for months and it constantly has issues. So far this one is great!!

Hey man! I just wanted to say thank you so much for doing stuff like this. I love five below but I've been scared of buying some of their gaming stuff out of fear it'd be a waste. The only one I have bought has been the subwoofer speaker set you showcased, the one with the big speaker and the two little ones. I love that thing!

I have this microphone and I’m trying to use it with my Xbox and I don’t know if it’s actually working. Glad to be back! It should. Like I mentioned, this mic comes with the combo audio adapter needed to plug it into the 3.5mm headset port on most consoles/controllers. You can even plug in some headphones alongside it.

It just plugs into your 3.5mm mic port. If your computer only has one port plug the included adapter into your computer and then plug the mic into the red connector on the adapter. If your computer is one with up to six ports look for the one with the mic symbol next to it. It's typically pink. After that you'll need to select your mic input in your software. Since each brand of motherboard calls it something different this is as far as I can take you. Good luck. 👍

They definitely made the right choice with this mic. It would have sounded even better plugged into my PC directly instead of using that cheap USB sound card though. lol

I actually have both the mouse and keyboard arriving tomorrow, and you're definitely right about the mouse. All of the specs are different from both of the others, and they went for what looks like a true honeycomb shell. I'm hoping to have reviews for all three good items up this weekend. I've been sitting on the headset for ages and couldn't find the right time for it. 😅

I'm interested to see if any more Bugha gear is coming, especially since they revamped the Bugha logo and box art for the mouse and keyboard instead of just using the old template. I wonder if the mechanical keyboard they're supposedly working on getting in will be part of that line. 🤔

I'm pretty sure you can find that stuff in anything made of plastic so unless you're planning to stick it in you mouth then you're perfectly safe

The USB cable is only for powering the LEDs, not audio. If your computer only has a headphone jack but no microphone jack, that might mean you'll need to use the adapter included with the mic.

If you have one of the newer model laptops that doesn't have a 3.5mm audio jack, you'll need to get an additional adapter. You'll need to Google what you need for your model.

You have to put your head set plug into your little green thing and the plug the mic brings into the red one then into your controller when both are plugged in

I'm torn on that one. I think the LED streaming mic just barely knocks the other one out of first place, but either one is worth getting.

Probably the LED streaming mic since it's a bit more sensitive, is properly setup as a side address mic, and has a mute button.

Some computers have built in sound cards that let you listen to the mic plugged into it in your headphones, while others don't. I use the USB sound card from the video because I know it has that feature. You should be able to check in your audio system settings.
