Honestly - I really do think that when a new hybrid comes out - those respective creatures that are *only* tournament creatures should come out for players to try for - the way they're doing this new hybrid now. I missed out on the Mosa. gen 2. And when I saw it was part of the fusing, I thought, whelp, that's a hybrid I won't have for a while. But then I saw that both tournaments for that hybrid is out! This needs to be a permanent thing.

I used to do the statue thing all the time when I played, although I used apato statues cause they were slightly better, I also traded just for bucks and it was really good. Whether they still are or not I don't know since I last played like a year ago.
