In this last study on Revelation, David Pawson lists the reasons for his view of the Millennium and resumes looking at John’s visions about our future including the final judgment. Books will be opened that reveal our records. Those who are ‘in Christ’ on that day - their names will be in His book, the Book of Life. The human race finishes in 2 groups only - those who live under the rule of God and those who want to live their own way. David warns against the lack of the fear of God abroad today which says that those who are not faithful to the Lord will be annihilated. Rather, ‘our God is a consuming fire, so let us worship him with awe and reverence.’ The good news for our future is that there is to be a new heaven and a new earth where God and those who have been faithful to him will live together. We can live in this new heaven and earth if we are willing to be ‘recycled’ now. Recycling is making useless things (and people) useful. David reveals evidence for the truth of Revelation in regard to the gems that are mentioned in the New Jerusalem - fascinating. He gives 10 reasons for reading Revelation.
David also has a book on this series find out more here: www.davidpawson.co.uk/search/...

Come Lord Jesus! I committed to listening through the entire unlocking the Bible series this year and have just finished this last talk. Praise God for this faithful, uncompromising servant who presents the word so clearly and truthfully, I look forward to thanking him in person one day. But more than that praise God for his Son Jesus who was and is and is to come. Praise God for His plan and purpose presented in His word, for his character and the faith, hope and love we can have through trusting in Him. I will always be grateful for this series and will pray it will bless many others too.

Today I have finished watching every video, and finished reading every book, of the Old Testament and New Testament in the guidance of this great man of God, David Pawson. Though you went home in May of this year, you are still having a wonderful influence on the lives and faith of many people. Thank you Mr. Pawson. We love you. And I really hope I'll be able to see you in Heaven and the New Earth. May the LORD keep you forever and ever.

dear follower of christ. most likely follower of whichever teachers you can view? mr. pawson is a very gifted teacher and he has great insights and book outlines that have blessed me immensely. but his teachings have errors which can only be discerned if one has prayerfully studied/meditated on the word of god himself like david did. and, eagerly listen to others but as eagerly check the very word of god for those teachings. may the lord bless you with the heart loving truth. it would help, too, if our focus is not on the messenger but on the truth of the message.

A powerful conclusion to a powerful series. Thank the Lord for the unadulterated Word of God. This was the most emotional video I have seen of him in the series. He was emotional in other videos when he talked about his daughter's death.:. But nothing surpasses the emotion of his prayer and plea at the very end - "come Lord Jesus." This series has changed my life. Thank the Lord for his servant David.

I have just finished this series (after watching the first series on the Old Testament). I've watched along with going through my bible-in-a-year and my appreciation and understanding of scripture have been thoroughly enhanced. A beautiful body of work and we are poorer since David left to meet his God. I must look him up and say thank you when I'm in the new Jerusalem! 😍

3:30 "fewer problems." the truth has no problem except for unbelievers or baby believers. the more we know god's word, the more we can understand it and discern the truth from the false. it is simple: if a manager wants his subordinate to do what needs to be done right, he makes his communication understandable not confusing. and yet, the subordinate may need to get clarification from his manager if he understood the instructions correctly. so it is with god's teachings. one must prayerfully and sincerely ask god to give the understanding by the power of the holy spirit.

@tlremportugues402
@tlremportugues402 3 жыл бұрын
@@bubbamoseks9522 I think he really meant eighth day and I believe what he meant was this: - Applying in a prophetic sense: God created the world in 6 days and rested on the seventh. And Genesis ends this count when God rests. In a way, the human being and God were at rest (even though God planted the garden and man worked in it) before human being sinned. After the sin, the rest was broken and God had to go back to work to redeem man and create a way for humanity to be saved through Jesus. And this is clearly expressed in Jesus resurrecting on the first day of the week, "which represents that God went back to work to bring rest again". I believe this fits with a phrase that David has already sayed: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and then created man. After man's sin, God is creating a new humanity and later on He will create new heavens and a new earth and will put the new man there". Thus, the eighth day would represent the new creation that God is making, recycling people. - On the practical sense of keeping the Sabbath or not (especially being Gentile Christians): This was an issue widely discussed in the early church (because of the Law of Moses and the conversion of Gentiles). You can see this in more detail in the teachings on Acts or Galatians, for example. In Acts 15 we see that God and the church decided not to impose the law of Moses on the Gentiles who had believed. Paul also once said, "Some believe that one day is more special than others" (probably referring to Jews) "others already believe that every day is special or equal" (probably referring to Gentiles). Thus, a person can keep the Sabbath if he wants, but this is not mandatory, imposed, because we are no longer under the law of Moses. Likewise, whoever wants to dedicate every day to God working for Him, can also do so. I believe that Paul clearly taught that we must have complete conviction in our conscience of what we are doing and that we must do everything by faith. This is my understanding, but if you have anything to add, please let me know. Thank you and God bless you greatly in the name of Jesus!

How can mortal human beings suffer forever when they are finite creations who have an end. It’s only when we receive Christ’s Spirit that we have eternal life and become immortal.In the original Greek the word translated ‘ forever’ means ‘ for an age’.Those who reject Christ will be judged and afterwards consumed in the lake of fire which is the 2nd death from which there is no coming back from for all eternity 🙏

0:49 held by the earliest "church." adam and eve held the view of independence from god was better for them and it has lasted through out history and until this heaven and earth will pass away. historical practice cannot substitute for god's teachings.

0:44 classic pre-millenialism. any "ism" teaching is man-made. one of the many errors of pre-millenialism (classic/historic/dispensational) is that it holds that during the personal ministry of Jesus, Israel rejected Him as king, THUS POSTPONING (does god not know and therefore had to CHANGE his plan?) and had to SETTLE?) for the establishment of His church in the meantime. because of the structure of the letter, it is clear that the recorded occurrence of the events are progressive/chronological. the most reasonable way to deal with revelation is to take it as it is in its simplest message: jesus comes back to wrap things up to its eden-state of creation for god and for the believers but it would be preceded by the great tribulation inflected on man (especially targeting god's people) by man and by the wrath of god (god's people are protected). and then the white throne judgment, then the creation of the new heaven and the new earth different from the first creation. believers are to prepare themselves spiritually to be overcomers till the end.
