Tirupati is a city in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the administrative headquarters of the Tirupati district. The city is home to the important Hindu shrine of Tirumala Venkateshwara Temple and other historic temples. It is located at a distance of 150 km from Chennai, 250 km from Bangalore,406 km from Amaravati. It is one of the eight Svayam vyakta kshetras (Self-Manifested Temples) dedicated to Vishnu. Tirupati is a municipal corporation and the headquarters of Tirupati (urban) mandal, Tirupati (rural) mandal, and the Tirupati revenue division.

That pond at padmavati temple is very sacred. After kolhapur godess lakshmi evolved in a lotus,, ie., padmam in that pond. We call it pushkarini.

Tirupati tatkal darshan karne ke liye best Andhara pradesh tourism Corp. ki bangaluru to Tirupati ka return package with darshan, Aap sab any time APTC ka tirupati package me jao, 30 min ne darshan karo. Mene may 2019 me darshan kara hai. Gujrat se me hu. નમસ્કાર. ખુબ જ સરસ દર્શન થશે,

Very nice, informative vlog Arpana 👍 liked it as it reminded me about all the places that I used to cover in all my last 9-10 visits to Tirupati-Tirumala. Quite good information for people looking for this divine tour. For the sake of other people watching this vlog just few more information like these days online advance ticketing system for both darshan and stay is much preferable until planning for last minute darshans and staying options. Also in Tirupati down hill there are two more beautiful temples - Kondana Rama Swamy Temple and scenic IscKon temple. Please try visiting them the next time you plan 😊 Also try once to take the steps/walks to reach Tirumala from Tirupati (some around 4400 steps + road walks covering 11 kms across the Nilgiris) and also try another time to explore the Tirumala hill top sightseeing places like Papavinashanam Teertham, Akasha Ganga etc. by trekker jeeps. They will give you a different vibes altogether. Unfortunately I did all these, but long back when I used to travel without any equipment to shoot them 😅 Keep it up...again really a comprehensive guide, shown in this vlog 👍

@@Laughingleague1Nope, tickets booked for slots are not allowed at other times. For each slots there is a reporting time which is a little before the slot time. And security people at the entry gate check the date and time before allowing the devotees inside.

We got our free darshan ticket called "servadarshan ticket" from Vishnu Nivasam in Tirupati. It's close to the Tirupati railway station.

First, you stand in line for the Mundan ceremony near the shoe area. They give you a razor for shaving your head, along with the room number and the barber's serial number. Then, you go to the assigned barber who shaves your head. After that, you take a bath in clean bathrooms.
