I feel like the only reason supercell is making this an event is to see how much money they would miss out on from people not buying hero books and gemming their hero upgrades. If supercell keeps making upgrading heroes a pain it will incentive people to keep buying books from the shop. Hense why they dont want to make heroes useable during upgrades permanent.

The devs did say in their video that one of the reasons for the hero equipment was to help offset the reduction in income if they allowed heros to be used while upgrading. Hopefully they plan on making this a permanent change regardless of the data collected in July.

Thats exactly what this is, they are going to measure how much profit is lost by letting people attack with heroes during upgrades, against player retention rates from letting people attack with heroes during upgrades, this is my single biggest gripe about the game, the longer the hero upgrader the less i want to play the game im only th12 god only knows what its like for th16

They don't do so because they said in an interview that one of their biggest sources of revenew is people buying hero books to use their heroes in war. We can't forget that they are a business and they need to make money somehow.

So when researching a troop you can still use it, same with spell or siege machine. Heroes are so important later levels they are the difference between a 50% attack and a 100% one. Also they are gone for 5 days at least

Make the goblin builder cost nothing even if it's a one month upgrade. Highest I could do is 100 gems. Why would people waste 500 gems extra for a 10 day upgrade? Instead of using that, gemming a main builder and use it for another upgrade is always better.

The Heroes won't be available to use while upgrading during the event though... They will be available to use while upgrading from July 1st onwards for a maximum of 31 days if we clear all the targets for dark elixir...

An additional feature for the builder potion is that when using it, you can upgrade the wall without needing a builder. Added similar feature to hero potions: can be used while upgrading

I just had a idea: How about we can use heroes while they are upgrading only in wars or atleast cwl... That way it's gonna be fair since in normal multiplayer battles the buildings which are upgrading cannot attack but in wars they can! So I thought should be the same for heroes too!

Never saw that issue personaly but heard people having problem with it. However, you are probably trying to do it while the cooldown isn't over yet. The cooldown takes 24 hours from the time you did the first streak.

My personal suggestion is that heroes should recover at twice the normal speed during their upgrade period. Additionally, I believe pets should be able to participate in wars even while they are being upgraded. Currently, there are not many new players joining Clash of Clans. The daunting upgrade times are a significant barrier preventing them from entering the game. Please improve this soon.

The 2nd most requested thing by the community is a way to upgrade the walls without a builder. In this way, we will have a reason to play when there is no builder and the resource tanks are full.

I wish they made the wall rings where you can use them at any time, even when all your builders are busy

I mean they are not wrong cus the only problem to consider when upgrading heroes is that you can't use them and achieveing 1 single star is already difficult in upper ranks and town hall level so this can help a lot cus it will feel like as if you never started upgrading heroes (but did) and will use them even so

Trash game for abusing the copy right system to ban creators that are speaking against this pay to win strat in COC now. Not the same game I played since release didn’t know I was funding an organization that doesn’t like the 1st amendment way to go COC. I guess the abbreviation of your name says it all for itself COC.

I quit for the exact reason 4 weeks ago. Best decision I ever made. Not being able to use Heroes annoyed the hell out of me. Only after quitting I realised how much time I was able to save from getting wasted. Now, I'm much more productive and getting good grades in my college.

While CoC developers are constantly listening and fulfilling all of the community wishes, CR is trying to gulp every penny they can find and still not keep up w hayday, I can't believe both are supercell games. Anyways huge huge props to the devs for making this event happen even tho it's limited time, kinda useless to me since my heroes are max but a great great event nonetheless, absolutely love it
