i started with your same point of view, because every one need to train to be better, so at the start you lose the mojority of the fight and the hg seems not fun. You need time to improve but after trust me you never play pve again thinking is fun because hg is the “real fun”. In effect at the start my words were “when I reach level 100 i’ll never come back to hg” now with over 2k allegiance I open the game only for play hourglass. I hope this one help someone to know how to improve “ just train” and every thing in every game change to not fun to “FUN”

21:04 i can explain it the shipset is the rogue sea dog shipset you get it for being 50 in the order of souls this shipset was basically emisarry ship set before emissary shipsets were a thing

currently level 57 and idk how you guys do stuff like this you are insane (in the best way possible), like im still having trouble grinding for the regular skelly curse, idk how you have the motivation to get to 1000

You need to stay motivated. I'm currently sitting at level 178 and my biggest boost was finding a crew to fill a brig and never go solo. We win around 75% of our encounters and having milestones like verdant bones, sunken bones and so on helps a LOT. Just focus on your big next thing and find which PVP ship you feel most comfortable with and you'll get there soon

@@francocavecchia8246 thank you, and yeah dont worry im still motivated af i want that skelly curse no matter how long it takes. ive also found sloops and brigs are usually best for me although. the main thing is just how hard it is to get a decent streak for me. the most i have gotten is a 4 streak and only once per faction was i able to turn the 4 streak in. It also doesnt help how pitiful the xp for a win gets after some time. each win gives about a third of a level now, and im extremely close to 60, so i know its gonna get much worse so that isnt helping either

I also struggle with finding consistent crewmates, because something usually happens and they dont play for a while or i find someone really chill and good and they play once and never play again. most of the time when i sit down and play hourglass, i spend about 80% of the time on lfg posts and discord lfc channels looking for someone to play with for maybe an hour then something happens and i gotta find someone else. or if i find someone they usually leave the moment we sink so im back to the lfc

@@fired_hey there! Rather late reply but here's my take on your issue: I had to do HG for 2 months before I settled on my crewmates. Its usually difficult because of the different timezones, work schedules and what-not, but once I got the Brig crew it was smooth sailing. We usually play in the morning because there are far less players (or at least, less experienced players) at such hours and it shows in our streaks. Since the last time I replied, I made it to 245 and I'm 15 streaks shy of the verdant bones! All of this because of the small boost that comes from the streaks themselves. My advice would be to sell streaks as soon as you get them, since it provides a good return of XP (half a level) and resets the multiplier for streaks

Give us all a tutorial on how to get good aim because I miss 90% of my shots in hand-go-hand combat, yet I’m very good at cannoning. I’m level 105 guardians of fortune. I won’t lie, it’s seeing people like you effortlessly destroy anyone you come across that keeps me going in this funny game haha

just play more, im good at pvp with guns because i play a LOT of fps/shooter games but if you only play sea of thieves you could try to aim train if your on pc(there might be a aim trainer on xbox but idk) but if you dont want to do that just simply play more with guns, try to board more to use them etc and make sure your senstivity isnt too high/low, your actual sens doesnt matter too much just adjust your ads sens on the guns to something you are comfortable with it and DONT change it when you find something you like

@@ennzy yeah, got my sensitivity down. I’m on Xbox until I can actually afford a good pc so I’m assuming practice is my only option. I’ll probably start in around 6 weeks because I have to sort some stuff out first, but thanks for providing me with advice.

@@jamman_rl9604 yeah, but he’s better than me I suppose. Someone was talking about tdm practice on boats but I have no idea of how to replicate that. As I said above, I’m mainly good at cannoning, and my skill on cannons got me on a 4 win streak without really fighting hand-to-hand. I feel I could be very good if i got my hand-to-hand as good as my naval combat. In around 7 weeks, I’m going all out and attempting to “hone in” on my skill at this game, as well as maybe even get myself to level 1000 in one day in either faction, mainly because I may be able to afford a new pc but due to other reasons too.

@@jamman_rl9604 it’s cause a few months ago when I returned to SoT, because I completely reset and wiped my pc, it reset all my keybinds and sensitivity settings, so since then I’ve been trying to relearn the sensitivity I am playing on, that’s why I’m able to hit snipes easy but sometimes wif my one blunders, but yesterday I think I found my original sensitivity which seems much better from the little testing I was able to do. So hopefully I can actually fix my aim now, one thing I hate though about solo hourglass is I feel little insensitive to tdm because I can win 90% of my hg match’s without even leaving my boat

If it's not too much trouble, could you tell me when *HDR maximum brightness* is the option that is in Sea of Thieves. I ask because your game looks very good in terms of brightness and color. I use it at 1200 but you changed the layers that's why it looks so good on you.

I don't know HDR setting your talking about, if you can explain it better I could help, I just have my in game saturation on 1.0 and just did some stuff with my NIVIDA color settings

It's in the settings menu, below the HUD option there is an option that says HDR calibration is like a way to raise and lower the game brightness.@@Capt_Roach
