It was the same thing with Breath of the Wild. All of the amiibo looked great, but none of them gave you anything worthwhile. Now they've all got cool fabrics, though.

It’s pretty safe to watch the other amiibo reward vid as well, he uses his early game playthrough to show rewards. (Early game being after the first (starter) section of the game)

Hey Austin! Just a heads up, I had epona registered in botw and had it in the stable on my last save. Totk recognised that and imported epona to my game. Didn’t have to scan my amiibo which is great as I didn’t bring them on my holiday.

Wow! That... is kind of lackluster. An arguably worse Sail Cloth, and two early-game swords. I am so glad I wasn't in a rush to get this one. Yes, I'll be adding it to my collection, but the drops aren't exactly setting my world on fire.

Austin I hope you do the whole shrine hunters thing again like you did in Breath Of The Wild! I literally use it every replay, my fingers are crossed you’ll do it again for Tears Of The Kingdom! Those videos were legitimately a godsend. Think you’ll do it?

i definietely plan on doing the harder shrines. IF I did a Shrine-Hunters, I'm still thinking about HOW i want to split it up because by region was NOT a good way. Also I'd be doing that at least week 3 as it's more of a long-term completion thing... and i have to FIND them first! lol

Organizing it all I’m sure is a crazy trial but God willing, any shrines you complete even if it’s like a quarter of them you can count my view in on those videos lol. If you obtain the armor in-game without the amiibo, you can still get the armor through the amiibo. That's why I have three Tunic of the Heros

On the back of the box for the Amiibo it actually shows that you only get the fabric and the sword

Thanks for the video. I just go my Link TOK amiibo, i also took about 7 tries of file reloading to get my champion leathers fabric. Only unique drop so far. Im still glad i got it tho.

use Annihilape holding shell bell. 252HP-252Atk-6Def. moves are rage fist, drain punch, bulk up, screech. start out by using screech 2 or 3 times, afterwards just damage it until you can tera. ez pz

I used my Arboliva Tera Grass Ability Seed sower Perfect IVs in everything but Atk EVs in SpAtk and Hp, rest in Def Giga drain, Growth, Sunny Day, Synthesis Holding a Big Root for maximum healing First turn Sunny day, Growth once if Chestnaught dealt less than half your health, otherwise Giga drain 3 times, Tera and after he resets your stats, use Growth in combo with Sunny day and occasionally Synthesis if it hits a crit and your health is low, then keep spamming Giga drain until you win An Intimidate npc ally works well, i had Arcanine

At this point all ingredients all good - make lots of stamina, cold resistance food now - you will need it when you get to Rito. And Tulin’s Quest is so detailed, blood pressure raising adventure - you are all going to enjoy it & hate it at the same time ❤

Amiibo are so useful for the drops outside the chests though. I have so many meats and mushrooms I never tan into a health or money problem.

I know this is way late, but I thought I'd pop in and make just a slight correction. I have done 0 story progression and I have got a few different undecayed knights broadswords. So I think it's just really about luck. It's a very small chance but it is there. Awesome content as always though man. Keep up the good work.

@lito dat they all work and you can find them in game without amiibo now. I have 2 pieces of the fierce deity set none from amiibo. I'm more about getting the parasail materials though the Ganon one looks the best to me

The reset 4 times to guarantee a rare drop truck still works. Got all armor using this method. Also you won’t get ANY exclusive weapons until after at least one “divine beast” is beaten

i picked up totk at gamestop earlier today. employee was being a square copping attitude. my receipt had a midnight release tag but decided to pick it up next day, dude acted like i already received my copy/got mad at me. lmao
