I had that happen to me at a Springfield game, caught it right in the rib cage to protect my gf at the time from it. She kept the freakin puck and dumped me a week later 😒

This happened to my dad at a playoff nhl game maybe 14 years ago and the puck actually knocked him out. As he is slumped over getting blood everywhere the guy behind him snatched the puck and ran into the concourse. He never got that puck

Awesome of the training staff to run into the crowd like that. Would be kinda cool if they brought him into the locker room to stitch him up. Give him the full experience!

Saw a father get hit on Friday at an AHL game, lots of blood. Felt bad for his kid and wife as they had to leave and obviously didn’t return. They were sitting front row too, very unlucky.

Is this factual or is this just your opinion? Were you at the game? Did you accompany the fan after the game and the days that followed? Lol. Maybe they haven’t fully put together a package for him yet but I bet they will!

I remember going to Blackhawk games in the 70s as a child....we didn't need no stinking nets...but my father always gave us a talk about puck awareness...

There are so many advertisements in-game now, that the two most important announcements are either not said, or said when no one’s really there to listen. (After warmups or before them). Those two messages: pick travels at a high rate speed and can cause significant injury or even death. Be aware of the puck at all times including stoppages of play. The other message: Wait For The Whistle before moving around in the stands or returning to (or leaving from) seats. Good ol’ hockey etiquette that so many still don’t get.

Notice how the whole bench on the home team shows great concern for a fellow fan who is sharing a genuine LVK jersey. This organization has a great fan/club relationship.

I have been hit by three hockey pucks all different arenas watching junior hockey and this was all before I was even 12 years old, some of us are magnets when it comes to flying pucks. ALSO I was watching the game and had no time to react at any of them.

Is it me, or do more fans get hit with pucks in Vegas more than in other stadiums? I feel like I’ve seen a dozen or so of these incidents in the past year or so and more than half of them have been in Vegas. Maybe put up some more netting.

He could always just neglect caring for the wound so that the infection will scar him for life. That's what I did with the scars I got from that time that I fell down a flight of stairs after getting dizzy on the fumes of my Aqua Velva but I tell the dames that it's from when I fought a bear.
