There's was one Tyrone Nesby did in 1997 vs. Ucla. It was a lob from half court and he caught it and dunked it backwards. It was crazy!!!

Keon Clark threw down hard... saw him play Syracuse at the Dome early 90s....UNLVs first 10 pts in the game were ALL dunks by Keon.... true story. Jarvis Basnight has (IMO) the signature dunk for UNLV against Pacific.

The Plastic Man had a lot of those. I remember his put back dunk when one of his teammates missed a free throw against my hometown Fresno State. I was in awe 😮after that at how athletic he was.

@@jayoverholts6429 right? i remember sports illustrated had a full page spread of the dunk in an article they wrote about the game. It's stunning that a photographer was able to capture it, Stacey is so freakin' high over the rim it's almost otherworldy.

TBH half the dunks should be of Stacey Augmon, Keon Clark, J.R. Rider, Jarvis Basnight, and maybe Shawn Marion. The other half should be all Derrick Jones.

This is hugely entertaining and excellent. I just discovered it and it brings me (a Vegas native and lifelong Rebels fan) much joy. Have to say, you don't have LJ's monster trail finish leaning on the break jam, at Arkansas, on Super Bowl Sunday, when they were #1 and #2 respectively. You don't have Richie Adams's legendary 360s our backwards dunks (one, vs Utah State, is on KZfaq even; murder conviction or not, this tragic figure certainly was the heart of the program for two years). Jarvis also had a legendary dunk vs Oklahoma on national TV (CBS) which I remember rewinding five hundred times as a teen. And nothing from Sidney Green, who was a complete dunking stud when he took the Rebs to #1? Or Theus from the 77 team either ... This is excellent but it is clearly not the all time best for UNLV's basketball program.

They have the footage.. Bcuz there are way more dunks they didn't show the best ones the one vs. Shawn Elliott and the one augmon jumps over dude theres hella more dunks from UNLV

There were so many good dunks from the Rebels besides the recent years and the early ’90s. Do a little more research, please. I'm a die-hard UNLV basketball fan since my childhood. You could have found some of Kas, Keon Clark, Nesby, Rosegreen, and Chris Richardson. The list can go on, don't forget that middle era when these guys kept fighting for Vegas. There are still some good years from 93-2006 of players that impacted the program.
