RARE - Several unmarked cars most likely from the National Crime Agency (NCA) or Police seen responding around London using blue lights and sirens. Featuring a BMW 3 series, Skoda Octavia vRS and Volkeswagen Passat.

RTobi (Rummeltobi) Red flash at rear in UK is for "stay back - do not overtake or pass" (ie stopped/closed road etc) not like FBI red, any car could legally use red flash if for a warning stopped ( I have a magnetic red flash triangle with ! for roof rear of car, police asked me where did I buy it as they like one - I said Halfords). I see in this they are using white blue flash front.

Pqrst Zxerty - I am afraid you are incorrect. Flashing red lights are reserved for emergency vehicles in the UK. This is outlined by the Road Vehicles Regulations 1989 and the Road Traffic Act 1988. By using them on a public road you are committing a road traffic offence and are liable to sanctions under the Road Traffic Act.

Will K I mean't they have the rear lights set as led strobe blue and led red strobe in same rear lights housing, normally it's only led strobe blue and in the reverse light housing with red strobe via the back window method.

Likely to be Met Police Specialist units- either tactical firearms, trident, or flying squad....

Firearms teams (AFOs) can drive any kind of vehicle, mercedes, bmw, vw, audi, including SUVs, coupes, estates and saloons

@@DiligentX As long as it’s powerful enough to carry the kit and will last the canning the drivers give the vehicle, there’s no real rule, pricing is an obvious factor, can’t be too ridiculous. The vehicles are meant to blend in with the public when not responding so as long as it does that job as well
