Awsome tank. The dpm is low but 122tm is a universal tool. It works when its bottom tier it works in open maps it works in city. It plays on medium line or can work as a heavy. It can snipe like td. A well rounded tank. Perfect for recovering from chieftain session.

the dpm makes the tank unplayable for me. Everything else is good about the tank but only works when games are slow which isnt much of a case in wot nowadays. It has a hard time pushing flanks bcuz of the dpm and when games are 15-3 has a hard time in getting dmg

I see this tank differently, It’s a tier 10 medium tank with a broken ammo rack and engine at tier 8, giving it fair fighting chance against higher tiers but frustrating for farming lower tiers

Hey ... nice to have Skill back in good mood. 122TM is kind of a "perfect" tank ... well DPM isn't that good but it is balanced and the "not the best mobility" supports the play style of it: stay out of troubles, don't go one on one and support your friends - not necessarily from the red line. You will need your friends to cover for your reload. With the low DPM you can block the enemy as long they sh** their pants and none is willing to take a shot. If one decides to take it ... good bye. Never the less I love to play with it. When you shoot, you hit, And when you hit you hit hard. No need for gold and if you think you want to use gold even tier 10 heavies need to think twice.

Agreed on all except gold, frontside of tier x heavies you need. Otherwise all gucci because sniping weakspots

I love seeing the games where Skill struggles, whether it’s matchmaking or his play. Because I partially watch skill to know how to react - I love his attitude. (Let’s pretend there were no chieftain streams ;) I must avoid that in myself even when it is hard…)

I really enjoyed this tank when I still played the game. It's a reliable platform but the dpm and meh view range hold it back from being more than "good". Still fun to play as a second line support/sniper though, because that gun is so satisfying when it hits

It's pretty sad how unbalanced games are these days. I blame this on the abyss between good players and bad players. Not to mention the tourists... You have players that knows the good positions and knows how to use his tank properly like that Su130PM that ambushed skill. Meanwhile you have player like the kv5 who rushes and dies doing 2 shots of damage. Its hard to win when 5 to 8 players on your team cant even do half their HP in damage or any damage at all. Its a massive skill issue.

If only the MM was capable of creating equal teams, in many cases it doesn't even create equal teams in terms of the tanks used. Recently i have played 2 battles against 2 chiefs with only tech tree tanks on my side and only OP premiums and reward tanks on the enemies side.

@vampirecount3880 i am getting more and more frustrated in the last month with all these quickplay games or all these red bot players. Doesn't matter what tier you play, they are just everywhere destroying the games and taking out the fun because there is just no chance for teamplay or strategy play. And when you talk to them in chat and ask for help they get mad, call you a noob, moron or whatever and next thing is you get a chatban. This is a fuckn joke. Yesterday i had an Obj 705A in a full tier X game and this guy was camping in last row. Team asked for help i pinged him and told him to move: he called me noob idiot, moron, i should stfu and uninstall the game because i have no idea how to play. In the end we won the game, i had about 3.6k dmg and the 705A with 0 dmg and got killed. So wtf is wrong with this game or lets say the players? When they play sooo bad they should not be allowed to play higher than tier 6 or the MM has to make their own "Noob" or "skill issues" battles. Easy and all will be happy.

Such a great tank :) How is ammunition rating 3/5? The apcr is tier 9 worthy and you get 300 HEAT pen.. on a tier 8 medium.

Maybe because it's just 400 alpha. If it had 420-440 it would be close to tanks like the Chimera in terms of DPM. With the Iron Arnie playing similarly as this tank the 122TM kind of falls a bit behind but it's still very decent. The HEAT ammunition butchers the STRVs, which is great to compensate for the 120mm gun

I run all my tanks without food. The biggest issue is with viewrange in 122TM. I'm forced to mount optics to touch 445m VR. Other than that I run rammer & v.stabs. Works well but I do miss the IAD on this

One of the few tanks I dont bother using a rammer on. The DPM is so low, I'd rather maximize my accuracy and make every shot count rather than throw as much shit at the wall I can. It just cant do that. Vents, Aiming, VStabs for city maps. Vents, Aiming, Optics for open maps.

i kinda like this tank when im not feeling agressive.. nice gun, good pen, and armor to bounch.. can really snipe weakspots.. but you have to play with others on the team. you dont go solo on 1 flank.. you will get overrun after 1 shot.

Terrible DPM, but it connect almost every shot. DPM counts only if you hit you shot.

My most played tank (800+ battles, 2,4k average), the gun accuracy is great, I'm also using turbo to compensate a bit for the mobility. But I still think the 420 alpha or so would be better on this tank, in the current state I would say it's pretty much balanced armor/speed, but with bad DPM and I'm not sure if the accuracy itself is enough.

@@vampirecount3880 Bounty ventilation + bounty rammer + bounty turbo, everything from Battlepass :D I used to play with stabiliser, but gunhandling is okay without it and the turbo just helps a lot with poor mobility.

I played this tank in Frontlines and with the crazy mechanics sometimes you could get double air strikes. 10-15k was easily achievable.

i have same feeling. Most of the games gun is just derpy. Soft stats are pretty bad for such low DPM.

the gun isnt bad or anywhere close of being bad. The thing is, since the DPM is so damn low when you miss it hurts far more to your performance than most guns do. So you hate missing more than other guns making you feel its less accurate when it isnt. It just have abusmal DPM.

Chinese RNG, all the Chinese line gets it. xD Just like arty, you can have a fully aimed shot go high and miss or low into the thickest part of the tank. And just the same, there are times you can snap shot on the move like old school Chaffee. I will say that the 122 tm seems, to me at least, to be a VERY well behaved Chinese gun. But it still trolls me.

Worst of Tanks has terrible match making in random battles. The bad match making program keeps a lot of players away from this game. No one likes losing constantly because the match maker can't create skill balanced games.

I'm an average player at best and made Major with this and a charioteer in Frontline. It plays more like a hybrid medium / td. The speed is the biggest factor to repositioning, if getting pushed.
