9:10 It actually matters quite a bit. While the drawing of the extra cards gives the T-Rex player more options, it is also a weakness because she must take 2 damage every time she needs to draw a card but cannot because she has exhausted her deck. One viable tactic against the T-Rex is to run away, let her exhaust her deck, then strike when her health has been whittled down because of the exhaustion rule. The deck is 30 cards large, but because the starting hand is 5, the pool is 25. The T-Rex, however, must maneuver to get into striking range because she needs to kill her opponent quickly before her deck runs out, so she will likely be drawing at least 2 cards from her deck each turn. For practical purposes, therefore, the T-Rex has at most 12 turns before starting to automatically take damage as long as her opponent stays out of reach such that she must spend an action to maneuver. Moreover, a lot of the T-Rex's powerful attacks damage herself. She needs to corner her opponent and finish the match quickly (FYI if I counted correctly, your game lasted 7 turns) before she starts to lose too much health by either self-inflicted wounds or exhaustion.

I've been having this question, and this is my takeaway. You gotta take 2 actions. First action maneuver, draw 1 card, and move all fighters up to their numbered value. Second action attack, but you can only attack with 1 fighter, not all fighters, even if they are all within range.

First of all, MORE UNMATCHED PLAYTHROUGH PLEASE!!!!! Second, what do you guys think of Super Fantasy Brawl? Has the 1v1 asymmetry fight as unmatched but it also has objectives, looks so fun!

At 13:27, wouldn't the T. Rex's card effect stop every single fighter from moving because it simply said "fighters" and not "fighter involved in the combat"?

A tournament would be cool to watch… wife and I just started playing this more recently… just both legends set, both Dino sets and Bigfoot… wish there was a few more around the valley playing it but atleast it’s about weeknight game for now.

At about the 15 minute mark, are you sure Jeff had to discard a card. The T-Rex card said move "then" anyone adjacent discards a card. After the T-Rex moved no one was adjacent.
