Im 21 years old, my husband and I just welcomed our baby girl Lilyana into the world Jan 20th. I also had an unmedicated birth, the rawness of this video moved me. It brought me back to the delivery room, and the memory of meeting my baby for the first time. The pain is indescribable but the love for my baby makes it all worth it. I can't believe how amazing women are.

Oh my word, yes!! 😭 Well said!! Her delivery was so much like my second. I also did it without pain medication and felt that wave of nausea before the pushing started. I was very vocal as well (but mine were curse words 😆). And the cord was wrapped twice! Birth is really the most chaotic, beautiful memory.

You are an actual super woman! Also thank you so much for sharing something so raw and vulnerable ❤ I was a little traumatised from all the sounds that came out of me during my son’s labour and birth - I just didn’t expect it at all and felt out of control. I guess most people leave that out of videos? But this was like reliving my birth and I finally understand why my husband told that I looked strong and in control the whole time - you absolutely did! ❤

I'm 7 weeks postpartum and it is safe to say I bawled throughout this entire vlog. Your groans instantly sent me back to my delivery room, but I can't quite remember the pain anymore, so crazy how our minds block that out afterwards. Then at the end, when you delivered and Oakley started crying, my sweet baby boy started crying. Time to go feed him...thank you for sharing these beautiful, impressively important moments. And looking up videos on how to prepare for pregnancy and birth and coming across this one has truly helped. @@HealthNutNutritionHey sister nikole, please tell which are these hospitals, tell at least one of the two hospitals either where sage was born or oakley's birth hospital's name I don't at all know a single hospital that gives this autonomy to women here in my place, All hospitals I have seen lay women flat with legs bent at knees, put syringes, tubes, unncessary machines and oxygen masks throughout body making her difficult to move, compulsory inductions, force women to lay on back and expose private parts wide open to men and male staff for literally hours and lay speechelss not scream, bully women to strain way beyond limits or threaten to csection, bully to stop cooperation if women decide to use breathing techmique to push and not strain as doc instruct, and even do ROUTINE EPISIOTOMY and violently pull out baby seriously wounding between two legs , this is equal to rape , I mean there is no word that describes pain of this abuse but it us equal to feeling of being molested My mother, in laws and female friends had horrible experience I am scared literally now, amd am in first month of preg, Am ready to migrate, in which state this hospital is??, at least tell state and area name !?, I will google hospitals there, I want to have a 'respectful birth experience like you and do not want abuse, I also have ptsd which will worsen if I face obs viuolence lol'😢😭

I gave birth on the 6th of october to my second child, this time unmedicated but i wanted epidural, problem was i didnt have time for it cuz bby came out fast. I had very good experience with epidural from my first. Every momma just needs to choose whats best, and that can change when u re in the pain process. Natural birth or not, as long as the baby comes out healthy it doesnt matter if u had pain or pain relief. Scary with the few seconds he didnt breath, really cried there, emotionel seeing mats reactiob. Thank God for ur precious boy, i wish him health and love.

She has supportive staff, not the one who force to lay flat, expose vulva, and cut her anyway without consnet, with she having no autonomy over her dignity. Her family is allowed inside to comfort her in painful labor, she may not be forced into episiotomy, nurses aren't pushy, she can move during process and she is pushing in her best position, so you should select a care provider that treats birth as a respectful event, for that u have to clear ur doubts beforehand

I loved your cave woman yells! I made the mistake of inviting some female relatives at my second delivery. I am vocal during labor as well (it helps me). During labor, my mom told me to try to quiet down since we were on day 2 being awake, and she wanted to try to get a nap. Then, at family get-togethers afterwards, my aunt kept bragging about how her daughter was so quiet during her labor. How that was a sign that she handles pain better than me! I tell you, during my next 2 births, I only had my partner! Who needs female support? Not me!

I am now expecting my second, and watching this just shook me to the core in a different way. when baby arrived and they kept encouraging him to breathe I got so emotional. I was so overjoyed when he finally took his first breath. I just broke down and felt a rush of peace and sense of relief. Thank you for documenting your precious moment. Good job Oakley, and good job mama ❤ It's so amazing that he is already 6months. God bless you guys

In India, there are not much hospital who let near ones like family member to heal you inside labor room, forget tge docs here don't even think women actually give birth, they think women are inanimate experimental objects on table from whose helpless body, docs remove a mass called babies, They don't inform you or tell you anything what's happening , which stage labor are you in, they just force you to lay flat on back and bend knees, for hours, put fingers in birth canal randomly , even male wardboys do without consent, put you on a machine motionless for hours, and that too with no relative beside you, and you are not allowed to touch your own body parts, meaning u are totally unaware ehat happen on other end i.e. near intimate area in sleeping position, then suddenly without you knowing, they 'CUT YOUR birh canal, press both hands forcibly on belly in fundal pressure and rudely pull out baby.

Moreover, as you are afraid of staff, thinking u have no 'Right to touch u and ur baby', you lay flat speechless and voiceless and clueless on what happened to you, docs straightly take away baby from below sheets to nursery rooms, feed formula milk which company sponsered them, wash baby wear it branded diapers , swaddle, and put cap all in nursery room and then bring out baby first to show to husband or in laws or attendants came with that preg woman who are waiting on chairs in passage of nursing homes or clinic and not to the actual woman who had a child, in all this, mother is totally UNFAMILIAR of what hapoened to herself and her baby, has she got baby out of her body, who the baby is, how baby looks, gender of baby, where baby is , etc. And if no nurse tell her when baby was in nursery room she won't know what came out of her lol, which is unnatural cos In nature, a borth giver sees what she got out her body. But, in India, actual mother is last to see her own newborn baby.

Seeing this made me feel so deeply connected with you,Nicole..I sort of felt what you were feeling during the process.I guess all women, who have given a natural birth, are somewhat united this way..I was crying with you and connecting with the pain and intensity I felt in my own birthgiving... I was so moved, how little Oakley immediately stopped crying once you gave him a kiss on the head in that precious first skin to skin time... Congratulations from all my heart, all the best to your family ❤

Congratulations on the new little one! Amazing video. I sat here bawling throughout. My daughter is 21 and for mine and her safety my dr decided a c-section was the best option. She was born 3 days past her due date at almost 10lbs. Yet I never experienced any contractions….false or otherwise. So many mixed emotions watching this between feeling like I missed out on part of the experience to feeling glad to have skipped it. Thank you for sharing your experience. ❤

It's so nice to see a birth vlog where the mum actually screams. I've seen so many where the mum is quiet or moans and it makes me feel so weak. I like to think I usually have a strong pain tolerance, having grown up on a station in Australia. However, I screamed like somebody was trying to kill me during the pushing stages of my labour, because that's what it felt like my baby was trying to do. I still don't know how we don't die from the pain we have to go through to bring our babies into this world. Labour was both awe inspiring and terrifying. Both the best day and the worst experience of my life 😅

Yes I get annoyed when I see women on here quite as a mouse and pushing like your getting out a feather, I have had two births so far and during contractions I’m beating on the walls, pushing stage makes me want fall out of the bed. Now I’m pregnant again and I’m telling myself be Calm like these women why are you so annoying during labour😂

I had the "I can't believe it's over" and "so glad i never have to do this again" feeling (we were done at two) even with an epidural. I hated pushing and the pressure, cannot imagine what it's like with all the rest you feel without an epidural. (Mine was a low dose)
