Putting Bob Costello on the witness stand was clear old Don jostling the elbows of his defense team to "keep hitting at Cohen" and forgetting that the Prosecutors could not only impeach Costello but point out that Trump wanted Cohen's silence which corroborated Cohen through the back door. The final arguments are about what elements constitute the law(s), and then applying them to the facts. If all the elements are fulfilled, than the defendant has been found to be guilty. It should be pretty much straightforward. "These are the laws. The lawyers have presented the facts. Now, do your job as jury." I never heard of jury instructions about cellphones.

There is almost definitely someone who is a strong Trump supporter who made it on the jury and wouldn't vote to convict him even if he openly admitted knowingly committing a crime. Trump will never be convicted of anything because he's such a polarizing figure that nobody can sit on that jury without bias. You either have 12 jurors who dislike him and are willing to convict, or you have at least 1 that will never convict. The facts don't matter. The law doesn't matter. To convict him, you'd need 12 jurors that are biased against him, even if he did commit a crime, which I believe he did. Then, there are appeals and all the rest. This is all pointless. The best we can do is to make sure he doesn't get elected again.
