I started up the STB line and was really happy with the STA 1 and people said the STA 2 was getting buffed and its just as good. Its now one of my main money making tanks now bc of how much I love it.

They NEED to buff IS6 and CDC, they are outclassed by everyone.

Love the tank, view range buff feels sweet everything else was almost not necessary

STA-2 is good tank when used in an ambush style as it is like ninja (good camo and good mobility) can appear at one location one moment then disappear and reappear in another location

I like the STA-2, got it in frontline two years ago and the gun handling really is great!

I think the view range and dispersion buffs were kind of needed for the kind of tank it is (390 vr makes more sense though). 380 vr and 0.37 accuracy is really bad for basically a tier 8 leopard.

Very nice tank and 1 more very important thing, one of the biggest features of prem tanks is to train crew. And it's nice to have pair like STA-2 - STB-1 instead of beautiful Black dog- Flipwagen...

I like the STA-2 quite a bit. Got it a year or two ago and used it a lot in Frontlines.

I like my Sta-2, it was my first premium tank because the Japanese medium line was the first one I ground out to tier 10. The sta-2 has treated me well, helped me train my STB crew into my best crew.

I liked the STA-2 before the buffs but I did think that for a tank that is really all about the gun, the gun could be a bit derpy. you had to run optics if you wanted full view range which meant kinda excluded using vents to help the gun. It was also HORRIBLE without food. there are tanks that needed the buff more though to be fair.

Buffing the STA 2 increases sales of the tank. It also influences players to go up the Japanese tank lines. This buff is about WG making money. Players going up the Japanese lines will spend a lot of gold and credits as there are a lot of gold sink tanks in the Japanese lines. The buff was to increase the profits of WG and not because the STA 2 needed the buffs.

Like this tank dot play well in tbh. Had some good games in it since the buff. Got tank sniper yesterday in the t34-3 first time in that tank and their would be no way the shots would have hit b4 the buff. do have bounty gld and vent on it though

Loved the STA-2 before, wanna try the new one, ever since SirFoch mentioned as a top tier 8 prem years ago I agreed with him and been enjoying that tank since then

I like the STA-2, but it could be a bit more unique. They should really buff/nerf the tanks at tier 8 so they are all decent and have unique traits to them. STA could prob use godtier gun handling, and maybe some turret armor to mimic the STB-1? Idk

Sta 2 compared to other mediums is in a really good state now, but then again we have progetto 46 which is making all mediums look bad or mediocre. So it's understandable that they would buff the other ones to keep them relevant. Powercreep it is.

STA 2 was quite balanced. I got it from the frontline first time round and I absolutely loved it before. Now its better. But I would say it didn't need any buff.

I should get this tank in the next trade-in.

Okay lets compare it to tree tanks which mostly need buffs ,but this is world of premium tanks nova days and it is how it is .. this game finished when they start bringing overpowered vehicles

Easily my worst tier 8 premium and I own just about all of them. Admittedly I’ve only played 20 something battles but with a 13% win rate I’m obviously terrible with it. I average 52% on my other tier 8 across the account. I know my play style is too aggressive normally. Maybe skills video will help be learn. Oh, I hate the STA-1 - even more than the STA-2. My problem.

Of course a good player that is good at playing this type of tank could make it work but overall the tank was meh. The buffs were a nice help and it certainly isn't close to broken still.
