@@FSoJG28597If you play a 7, you pick someone to swap hands with. If you play a 0, everyone rotates their hands in the direction of play. Yes, it is terrifying. Markiplier uses it, and I’ve seen him lose at least once because he gave away his hand and immediately forgot what was in it.

If anyone doesn't know in the year 2024 (or later, hello future reader), the Challenge mechanic is one of the original rules that states you're only allowed to play a +4 wild if you have no other cards that can be played, and that you can challenge someone that you think breaks said rule and make them draw cards instead. It's a common house rule to not play that way because hardly anyone actually knew of that rule before Ubisoft's UNO release in 2016.

slight correction: the +4 is only challengeable if you could've played the color, not if you could've played the number.

"Why does it show me all your cards when I challenge?" Boy, it's really amazing how few people actually know the rules to a game as simple as Uno. You can only play a +4 Wild if you have no other cards you can play. If you suspect a player is illegally playing one aimed at you, you can challenge it. If they played it illegally, they draw the 4 instead of you. But if they played it legally, you have to draw 6 instead. It's a rule in irl Uno. and you have to look at their hand to tell confirm it.

most people don't know the official rules because everyone has their own house rules. It doesn't matter if you're playing "correctly" as long as everyone has fun
