0:21 -- I've seen that done with regular Uno, either as a house rule or perhaps a misunderstanding of the rule (the standard rule is you draw one card, then if can't or don't wish to play that card (once the card is drawn you can only play it, not any of your other cards), your turn ends)

Standard rules of UNO are to pick up one card and you're forced to play it if possible, else your turn is skipped House rules can make you pick up until you get a playable card, to be able to choose wether to play the card you got or not, or both (or whatever really, house rules can be one hell of a ride sometimes lmao)

Wait does color not matter when stacking? Can you put a blue draw 4 on top of a red draw 2? I understand similar penalty in different colors, ie. red draw two on top of a blue draw two but changing color and penalty is just bonkers to me.

I hit up unofficial on X (twitter) and they said it doesn’t matter once you start stacking. Only rule is the penalty has to be equal or greater. Can’t stack a +2 on a +4.

Ouch...imagine a chain that's an 'insta-kill' for whoever gets hit by it. Though it does occur to me that this also takes all the cards in their hand out of the game. Also, I wonder what the rule is when you're made to draw more cards than are left in the deck?
