This is surreal, I've never been so invested in the PERSON behind the voice of an FF character before. The game isn't even out and I'm stoked for him and want it to succeed. The fact that he was already a fan of FPS to the point of hearing when you all jokingly mentioned having him on the show, to then reach this point, is incredible to watch. He seems like such a stellar dude, can't wait to play XVI 👏

I've been a fan of quite a few gaming podcasts, (Dropped Frames being one of my go-to podcasts because it's weekly and usually 3 hours long which is great for my commute during the week. ) But this podcast has to be my favorite in terms of the content. I listen to this podcast first whenever a new episode comes in and sometimes twice. All of you have such great chemistry with each other during conversation and on every topic. I feel like a 5th wheel (in a good way) just sitting on the couch with a drink in my hand just listening to good people talk about something I love too. I wish that I had an endless supply of this content to listen to during my week of commuting, cooking, cleaning, and doing monotonous things in video games, I just enjoy it so much. I hope that you all enjoy making it as much as I enjoy listening to it.

I finished 16 3 days ago, and holy shit Ben's performance was so on point it was unbelievable. I usually play Japanese games with JAP voice overs, but Clive was so perfectly voice acted that the thought to switch voice-over never crossed my mind. To be fair all ENG voice work in FF16 was top notch, even random side npc-s, Clive is a huge stand out even with the entire thing being pure quality. Ending of the game hit me in the feels like nothing before and since FFX ending did, the difference is when i finished FFX i was 14 years old, thought it couldn't happen anymore, guess i was wrong.

Per Statistica, France is the second largest consumer of Manga outside of France. Half of the entire comic industry in France is Manga. I genuinely enjoyed the Ben Starr (Well, I just want to call him Clive) segment and how he described his auditioning process for a series (though initially unbeknownst to him) that is one of his all-time favorites. Also his talking about his gaming history as well as being something of Platinum hunter for games he really enjoys, something that's pretty relatable for me. He indeed has a stellar voice that is very much contributing to a potentially phenomenal Final Fantasy entry, which if the demo is any indication, a game that I think will be phenomenal on all fronts: presentation, story, and gameplay. Side note: his interaction with Lucy seemingly resulting in her full 'British-ness' coming out full-force was much appreciated. Another great episode. Keep it up, everyone.
