@@Ahilliard44 Although I may say that some junks in lower ranks just walk straight ahead towards you and get decimated by headshots and the ball just lives... unless the whole team is just on your ass.

haven’t seen the yeatle video yet but that’s a pretty wild take imo. i stay gm3-gm5 playing almost exclusively ball and i feel he’s strong. yeatle is far better than me and he thinks that? wild.

@@harrybeast58 maybe "not strong" is a bad summation, he just has a very different playstyle in OW2 since a lot of other heroes have good mobility and ball has to front line. Plus there's so much more healing and health and ball doesn't do much damage so his kill potential is lowered. It's a very different play style that I think is hard for some old players to get used to

Ive been playing ball since ow1 released and i agree with his statement about ball is not a space maker Ball never a direct space maker since ow1, direct space maker is hero that can front line for ur team, ball can never front line cuz u will be useless u will be like monke without shield jumping on enemy face Doomfist even though he doesnt have shield, he have kits to fight enemy tank on front line like punch, stun and his blocking dmg. Doomfist also better at engaging compared to ball and much more faster since he doesnt really need to set-up like ball Why ball played in high ranked? Cuz on those rank the chance of ur team surviving against single tank is much higher compared to lower ranks. In lower rank ur team prolly die like 5 sec after u leaving them to set-up

@@harrybeast58Yeatle was just saying that Ball isn’t the same as he was in OW1 at the top ranks of play, and he doesn’t play well in Yeatle’s playstyle anymore. You can still definitely play him and grind him to GM like any other character.

Yeatle is right about ball in top level play, but I think Chamz is just built different

5v5 just favors Chazm’s style of play much more, it’s a lot more aim based and tech based with lots of dueling. Yeatle was more about disrupting and engagements and that’s why he was the best Ball in 6v6

Chazm is the Ballin' Barry that can't be stopped. OTOH Yeatle's main talking points are valid -- when you look at how much work goes into staying competitive as ball vs the free value you get playing other tanks, it's pretty nuts.

Its so obvious that if you die 8 times without getting a single kill that your bad 😂😂 He means that if the stats are not obvious then you cant judge weather they are bad of not

There’s a difference between being a 15-5 widow where the 15 was 3 headshots at the start of 5 fights (carry) and a 22-7 widow just smg and bodyshotting and team follows up (would be better on any other dps). That was his point, 0-0-any number above 3 is still terrible

@@micah4539 that’s exactly the problem, I can easily go in and get a pick but my team just end up dying because they have no tank to protect them

Honestly, you need to grind and get out of plat/diamond -- maybe play closer to your team and don't roam so much, as they'll just feed their brains out. I've watched a few Chazm unranked to GM games where he struggled in a few games at those ranks because despite hard carrying, his team just feeds the moment he's not frontlining.

@@dvtto2646 pick out targets as your team is about to fight. You wanna initiate your fights. Also you wanna go to their main support first.
