Does this pack have any systems in place for handling custom movement in multiplayer? i.e. like a dash -- can the movement execute immediately on the client and then validate on the server?

Are you gonna make any tutorials around this? Things like syncing quests or connecting to a networking subsystem would be extremely helpful!!

I'm hoping to do a multiplayer tutorial series at some point but unfortunately I won't have time for it until next year 😔

Looks great, I've been following this for years. I added replication to DCS for my game, Shattered Fey (I haven't gotten magic for DCS replicated yet, replication is tricky at times). Have you tested this on the Steam sub system for replication? I'd love to use an off the shelf replicated system for a base and add in my other custom items. If it works via Steam for co-op than it's well worth the price you have it listed at.

Haven't tested it with a subsystem but from what I've heard about subsystems they're usually pretty smooth sailing! Only tested with connecting multiple on the same network 🙂

@@Beardgames The main issue I've run into is with syncing all the game events as players enter an on-going session or when they enter into another players rep notify zone. For ex, my game allows players to change meshes and for awhile I couldn't figure out how to sync the chosen mesh across all clients. The Steam sub system is really smooth as long as you've coded things to work correctly.

@@lonehatchlingllc I think the syncing you're talking about is replication and can be tested in unreal without a subsystem. The FCS is fully replicated so all meshes replicate appropriately I believe this shouldn't change subsystem or not 🙂

@@Beardgames Good to know, I won't be switching out of DCS for Shattered Fey. I am open to trying other bases for future games, I will be checking out FCS for future games in the near future.

On old computers that run barely [single player game/code] at 25 - 30 FPS, do assets with Replication code have a higher cost? 2) If yes, is it possible to switch off Replication code if a dev only needs Single player function? (I bought an asset with Rep code. It looks complicated, many extra nodes that wouldnt be needed for Single player. But without the seller setting up an easy on/off switch, it would take time for me to do it myself. For your multi-assets, it would take longer. Thus I ask if it is even worth it to disable Rep code?: if Rep code only adds 0.0001 second computing difference? Or does it hit as high as 0.3 seconds on old computers?)

Not worth it apart from if you have OCD about the extra events haha. I have a tutorial you can follow if you did want to remove it

@@Beardgames ok. I have one of them, forgot which. But suggestion: on your Market page and at YT vids (that are related to this), tell people that you have "X, Y, Z" tutorials available after purchase. E.g. for when Im uncertain if I want to buy an asset, Or I have an unanswered question on how to do something with it. Thus it may help convince buyers if you advertise that you have a "tutorial available to buyers" to "take out Replication code if you really are concerned."

@@Beardgames With GAS you can also use BPs. Is there any particular reason you moved away from GAS? I'm also considering buying this asset btw.
