Great tutorial! A tip based on my experience: Export from your favorite 3D editor a plane that has the same aspect ratio as your footage. Then import it into UE5. This will help avoid deformations from scaling it by eye with UE5's default plane. You will get a perfect shot.

Hey man I keyd my 4k foootage in AE as a 60fps png sequence and imported it that way and rendered my unreal sequence out at 60fps but it's like they don't lign up, it's like the scene moves and the png sequence is at a different frame rate somehow???

Hey dude! What´s the anti-aliasing method are you using in the project settings? If I use TSR anti-aliasing the chroma key get´s blurred even the fps is 60fps but the background map is perfect. If I change anti-aliasing to none, the chroma key is perfect but the background in the map gets bad. Do you any work-around for this issue? Thank you!

May I ask how do you export the footage? When I use the level sequencer it will let me export the frame range however, it keeps trying to use the 1st image in the png sequence for every frame.

@@WeShootFilms My mistake! I missed the part where you set the video texture in sequencer! Once I did that, everything worked. I also noticed they updated the process a little bit and made it easier. You can just drag the image sequence right in and it creates a media plate with more controls for video (as opposed to using a plane).

I had the same issue. You computer is rendering the sequence and is just black temporarily. Go to your media player and double click your Img Media Source and if you see your footage, it’ll work. Stronger computer, faster results.

At60 fps you get less motion blur motion blur isn’t great for green screen. If you’re not going to move much or do any fast movements you can get away with 30fps.

Png is an image file. Render your footage out of After Effects in a png sequence. Then restart this video.

@@_varianta007 Macs are so very powerful, but when developers just slave away for Windows platform based coding, then anything you do that is adapted within that specific application...doesn't matter what it is...if you have to adapt it, it is a workaround. Some things Mac are as good as it gets for artists and creatives...but it does not matter how a machine or tool is spec'd if it is not native in the application design. Different tools for different jobs...my M1 Max is blazingly fast, longer battery life than Windows laptops, the power of a workstation in a laptop, and so much more. But for Windows only applications, or programs that were written, coded, and designed for Windows first...have a Windows machine.

5.4 has great things added but as far as green screen it’s pretty much the same process. And I’m sorry but I don’t really deal with android at all.
