Dude having George being the main camera guy who narrates while Cleet drives worked out flawlessly. Really everybody in the team is perfectly capable of grabbing that camera and doing a legit video by themselves let alone as the team. It’s like every video you just feel more and more involved somehow. Feel like everybody in this community is part of this race team lol coming from a family who works on a dirt track team, this is legit pit stuff. Again a testament to the team and to Cleetus' ability as a driver. Gets in a brand new (to him) car, with a transmission he has never raced with before and takes it to the peak of the cars abilities. Clarkson once said "the mark of a true racing driver is they drive the car as fast as it can go, not as fast as they can drive it. I don’t think the McFarland racing team gets enough recognition for how much hard work, dedication and effort they put into building cars and drag racing them as hard as they do. They are absolutely killing the game right now and I love it 🇺🇸🦅👏

McFlurry is an absolute beast 💪 Its nice to see some more Ford content on this channel its a nice change of scenery.

We had a car with a Lenco shifter way back in the 80's, although we had a clutch on the input, not a torque converter. With a Lenco you can actually pull any leaver at any time (except reverse). Each leaver provides a specific gear shift, typically around 30 to 37%. Each one can be a different gear shift based on what was purchased and which order the sections are bolted together. You can also start with any of the shift levers pulled if you want a higher start ratio for a less grippy track. Once a lever is pulled, that section becomes a 1:1 locked up section. When the lever isn't pulled that section has a gear reduction plus a one way sprag clutch that only allows accelerating torque (no engine braking unless all levers are pulled into 1:1 position).
