well the way she told him was not wise , she was tellin him how to do his show and luckily for her he was nice about it and let her continue because at first she was gonna try to give her side of the story first and the judge had to stop her and tell her the plaintiffs go first so then she played it off by switching up the conversation and personally i dont like how she tried to be controlling and did that but i think she lost because she was simply wrong not to pay the man for his labor and the judge got it right .

I believe the defendant. He gave her a low price because he knew he didn’t know what he was doing. I believe he left work unfinished and that’s why she didn’t pay. He went out of his way to leave a message on her Facebook and put a lien on her home out of anger and spite. He could have sold the debt to a collection agency just as easily as he went to court. I rarely disagree with JM but he was very biased and I have so much respect for the defendant and how poised she was. Also how was he able to put a lien on her house without going to court first?

The plaintiffs had already won before they even stated their case. Judge Mathis was so pleased about how the plaintiff turned his lifestyle around and so flattered that he and the inmates watched him from prison that he didn't even want to hear the defendant. The plaintiff stroked him so nice that he had a hard on. I believe the plaintiff was dishonest in his statement. He stated in his text to the defendant that he could no longer continue doing the work because of the hostile work environment. However, he told the judge that he had finished the job. That doesn't make sense. In my humble and honest opinion, I do not believe Mr. Mathis' ruling was fair after hearing the facts. In this case, Mr. Mathis gets an F!

That's why they say "this is my courtroom and I can do what I want", they can and they do. YOu can appeal the judge's decision but WHILE your appealing the judgment that was made the Original Judgment Stands. Being in the courtroom with no opinion and no bias is a hell of a place to be, and detailed thought process to have.

What professional takes a down Payment on a $1200 job. I've never done it and have NEVER had a problem getting paid. You have to be a pro mechanic in people's home: courteous, punctual, clean and professional explaining everything you want to accomplish to the customers satisfaction.

Give him compliments, have a background similar to his and you pretty much win your case. People blow his horn as much as he blows his own. He was actually dejected that this woman was counter suing. How dare she counter sue the man he brought so much praise on.

I believe him.... he has been honest in wanting to help her out the gate. All the work he did cost way more than $1200. And he was honest about a roll of screen and hose for the sink.

Ok first let me say almost anytime the defendant counter sues for the same amount that's a red flag for me... ...BUT everything that happened before the defendant got to even speak was gut wrenching. He finally addresses her with "😏so why'd you get kicked out of church?" 💀💀💀
