Excellent video, thank you!! It was very unusual the Blues&Royals came through the front gates this morning, instead of the park at the back, for the change of regiments. It was obviously a last-second decision, since the Life Guards had not been informed (not even the Captain knew, as he was outside with part of the troop, it was the Corporal of Horse who came to notify him that they are coming through the front, not through the back, as usual). You were the right person at the right spot and the right time to film this!😀👍👍👍 Quite remarkable! I wonder what the reason was for this change. I can only imagine the ensuing "traffic jam" that was at the stables, when all of the Life Guards' horses came back to the stables, as well as the Blues' ones when they arrived, all entered at the same time! Plus it was a Long Guard (they had the trumpeters and the colour bearers)😀😀 I noticed they installed video cameras (360 ones) in each box ceiling, which i believe it was long overdue. The PA system of communication from the Guard Room to the courtyard was also new to me, when they announced the horse in the right-hand box is not ok (or something along those lines). Never heard announcements like that before. They probably installed audio communciation channels that go from the inside to the outside👍.

The grey wearing a black & red tail in front under the reins, is that a warning to the other guards, "to watch his tail end because he kicks if your horse gets too close"❓ The police vans were 2 different types of units. 3 regular & 4 (black & which I didn't recognise ❓) I wonder if specialist electronic detective equipment is houses inside after the rare recent oddness of a group of horses kicking, becoming disorientated and swiftly removing a number of guards from their backs❓
