Imma start of by saying, I haven't listened, but I already know it's a word. The title is literally the word God gave me for 2024.

My 26 year old daughter has been in and lot of the hospital 5 times since September with a rare form of meningitis. We spent Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year in the hospital. This last stay has been extremely difficult on my health, my faith & my life. I so desperately needed this message! Thank you so much for reminding me the shaking will be temporary…

Thank you for this message. I have been in a state of Shaking for a little over fifteen months, each month feels like more shaking instead of less. It’s been very stressful and scary. I don’t know what giving up looks like but I’ve had those thoughts many many times ….but deep down, I keep thinking “no. I’m meant to do things, I can fight harder, work longer, believe more”. I am slowly learning that I don't have to understand why the shaking, just knowing that God knows exactly what is happening and why. He is doing a work in me. The Message? You make some good points but you seem to think that God needs your hype. He does not. This is the kind of church that makes me concerned about the church. Let’s stop trying to be so cool and go back to mourning over our sin and our wealth as James tells us. If you need some preacher to get you hyped by being hyped, we are in trouble. God moves us, not man. If you stopped all the hype how many of your congregants will stay around. We are the wealthy, if you live in the western world, you should be fasting and praying and humbling yourself, not getting hyped. We need to be shaken all right. The coolness and the hype need to be shaken and burned up. We do indeed drift toward superstition and call it faith - like ‘claiming’ we are unshakable in Jesus name as if we are incanting a spell with Jesus’ name attached? Read your Bibles people and obey it. Stop looking for the next hype message.
