The female detective says there was no sign of a break in "such as broken windows" when minutes earlier the wife says she thought the noise was the back door slamming shut because "all the windows were open". I think someone was walking by and saw these open windows and back door and went inside. He saw the gun in the closet and when Bob saw him he reacted. Bob probably didn't make any noise because he didn't want his wife coming in and potentially getting hurt. After he was shot, the intruder immediately bolted.

Update on Robert Dirscherl: Unsolved. It has since been discovered that the Dirscherl family had a neighbor and family friend who was a teenager at the time of Robert's death. He had been in the Dirscherl home several times before and would later be convicted of several burglaries and robberies. Years later, he died of AIDS. The neighbor's friends remembered that he often used the term "daddy" similar to how it was used in the confession letter. The Dirscherl family believes that the neighbor was responsible for Robert's death. Handwriting analysis was done, comparing the neighbor's handwriting to the letter. However, it is not known what the results of the analysis revealed. The police still consider his death a suicide, so the Dirscherl family cannot get a final resolution until his death is ruled a homicide. In 2010, forensic investigators determined that the evidence supported that the death was a homicide. Surprisingly, as of 2015, authorities and the medical examiners have given seven different theories as to how Robert may have committed suicide, while the evidence seems to suggest otherwise. Sadly, Robert's wife, Jinny, died in 2000 and his son, Guy, in 2019 without ever seeing the case resolved. unsolvedmysteries.fandom.com/wiki/Robert_Dirscherl

The alleged psychic was a friend of the killer who was remorseful and wanted the family to know that his victim did not take his own life! Funny how she knew all the names of the victims family but did not name the killer. That is my take on this scenario!
@ThePeterDislikeShow5 жыл бұрын
How did she recognize the wife then?

Yeah, but her dad gave her the info. So how would the dad know these people’s names. So if the dad could know all of the people in the event, then he could know the killer. Or the dad could get the dead husband to describe how the killer looked. Since she had such great details of everything.

26 min 10 s Robert J. Dirscherl shoe was off. Who would shoot themselves with one shoe off and no sock on? A person is unlikely to commit suicide bc of an unsuccessful operation. Where was the gun? Where is the bullet? What about finger prints and toe prints? You have to be careful with so-called psychics. Such people read things in newspapers, or they ask around or people tell them about you. This is something that is well known. Even if they don’t ask for money, eventually, they hope that news spreads about their abilities. There is nothing spooky going on. The so-called psychic can’t give the name of the killer. Anything she knows is already talked about in newspapers, in public. Be careful and don’t be gullible with such simple tricks.

This neighbor was convicted of a series of burglaries and robberies in the area and later died of AIDS soon after the note was delivered. Handwriting sample analysis results were inconclusive. Jinni Serscherl passed away in 2000, just three years after the segmemt aired. Guy Dirscherl passed away in 2019. The case was reclassified as a homicide in 2010 though in 2015, alternate theories were offered in support of suicide.

I've heard of the term rainin cat's, and dog's. But, it's the first time I've ever heard of the rain of dinosaurs. Bet the mudino puddle's are humongous.

That helicopter crash story is so far my favorite segment of season 9, extremely interesting. I could listen to that type of case all day long, super fascinating.

A corrupt system where those criminal elements think they can do what they like - even bring down a passenger plane!

Charlie described that in true 90’s prime time TV fashion: said just enough so you knew exactly what he was talking about, but not so much that the censors could yank the segment off the air.

..I LOVE Robert Stack and Unsolved Mysteries, but the Aphrodisiac episode was Cringey and so was The Aphrodisiac guy talking about it. He looked Creepy. Surely one of the cheesiest and embarrassing Unsolved Mysteries episodes of them all ! My goodness. I agree with fellow You Tubers on that episode ! OH BROTHER ! Plus sad case of the killing of Ethel Kidd. Glad they caught her scumbag killer. Same goes for killer of Bill Cosby's son. Chrissy

At 2o minutes, speaking of the burns, they could very easily have been done by hot hydraulic fluid. I recall a leak in a sea knight while doing ops. One of the crew jumped on it in flight, laughing and seemingly enjoying himself, while a bunch of grunts shit themselves watching him fix it. It was really hot spraying everywhere, so yeah, I'm pretty sure those burns were as likely from hot fluid, as from a yet undeveloped microwave weapon . Semper fi Earthlings
