I truly enjoy watching the process of you cleaning up these areas. I'm in sw. Ga. I hired a young man who has a skid steer with the mulcher like you have to regain some real estate for me. He said he has fun doing this kind of work. Thumbs up to being in your own bussiness.

I enjoy watching you “grind” up these trees. My 1st time I saw a mulcher was in 2012 just before our deer hunting season in Deep East Texas. A company was hired to make roads through the woods for seismic crews to lay out there blasting lines that lead up to the horizontal drilling in East Texas for natural gas. We called them “grinding roads” LOL. We didn’t know better. My Daddy, God rest his Soul, whom was raised in this area, would say and I quote; “There’s something in this ground and they’re trying to figure out how to get it”!

It's always fun to watch you mulch up those trees. Munchie is a good name for that thing. Thanks for sharing and I'll see you later.

I can't believe that I would sit still for 1/2 an hour watching trees get squished. But I did. fantastic that you can leave all the mulch where it came from to put the goodness back into the soil. Plus all that result with only one man, who's biggest risk seems to be getting sore wrists from using the skid steer levers. Keep up the great work Sir.

Good video Davon, I like this kind of stuff with you taking down these trees my friend! The TMC is a tree mulching monster to me, I’d love to see you get one for your excavator and see the difference between it and little munchie! I wonder if it would make a difference in power! The TMC sure impresses me with its faster recovery too! I love it my friend! I wish I knew someone that has one to get rid of my 12 pine stumps leftover from the two hurricanes we had in 2020!

Great job! Wish it would have been drier! Like the new music today, classy, moving out and moving on music! Notice how more light is getting to the ground now, that should help with some of that water! Thanks for sharing!

Mulching instead of yanking them out of the ground preserves the root systems of the trees you want to keep... Good job and I like your info breaks 👍

I have been watching you for a good while now and always wanted to ask. when you get the drum down in the dirt, which I know is necessary to get a good finish, doesn't the dirt act like sand paper on the teeth dulling the quicker? Seems like it would too me. But again I know there is no good way to keep from it and still get a good finish. Love your videos.
@idigit49673 ай бұрын
Yes it does wear the teeth a little faster but that's just how it is.

#demolitionranch matt, maybe you can use this to mulch all that sage brush
@toddhill14653 ай бұрын
Matt attempted to use a mulcher on the Abandoned Resort project months ago, however there were too many rocks in the ground. It was tearing up the teeth on the mulcher head and so his progress through the mulch couldn't justify the use of the machine. I think he had to go the traditional route of using a chipper and a mini excavator.

Such a waste of good timber. No wonder the earth is falling apart due to human activity.
@idigit49673 ай бұрын
You are obviously misinformed and know very little about "timber" Not one tree I took down would be considered timber in my area. And I know a good bit about timber, it is the largest heavy industry in my county and the adjacent county. If there was any timber in here worth any money the owner would not have me taking it down.

@@idigit4967 - With the number of paper mills in the area, lots of those areas are re-planted pines. Georgetown's IP plant in particular trucks in trees daily for paper, and they always get replanted. Heck, most of the trees felled by Hugo were harvested and the areas replanted and those trees are now full-grown. It makes me wonder why people complain about them being cut down. They act like 'once a tree is cut down, it's lost forever and we'll never see a tree in its place again.' They need to come into my lot and shout at the beavers for drowning the root systems of trees near my property. 10 beavers made quick work of about 75 trees in my neighborhood over the past 3 years. Oh well... Some people just have to hug a tree, logic be damned.
