I grew up listening to Chris Rice’s music and although I loved it as a kid, I’ve grown to appreciate his songs at an even deeper level as an adult. This is one of my favorites he’s written and I’ve often found myself singing it as a prayer. ♥️ Emmett was kind enough to join in once again and sing it with me. Thank you all for your encouragement as we’ve put a few songs up here, I pray this encourages you as much as it has me through the years.

After all this “stuff” we have been through, this is the true cure… come to Jesus. 43 yr old Canadian father of 7 children. Learning the violin for the first time. Never too old. Thanks for the great inspiration. Jesus willing, I will get it. Can’t wait to start singing with my little ones.

This young lady is EVERYTHING a woman should be. Was a great song for troubled times in our country. My heart aches to see what is happening. I've lost friends laying down their lives for America. And this was a reminder that there is still beauty in this world worth fighting for. Thank you.

"Emmett was kind enough to join". Kind. A word lost in the vocabulary of contemporary society, almost archaic in its use any more, a relic of an ancient civilization. It seems as if it's inexorably slipping away, like the ebbing of the tide. And yet, for the Christian, it is flowing into the shore in greater and greater waves, building to a tidal surge as an expression of gratitude. Once we become aware how vast and deep and wide is the love of Christ, in the light of the darkness of our soul, that He should sacrifice Himself for us -- beaten, forsaken, humiliated, and alone -- and through that darkest hour secure our salvation, everything else that happens is gravy, icing on the cake. How can we not appreciate the kindness of a friend to join us to sing to Jesus?

"And with your final heartbeat..." When Katie sings this line, I'm always already crying. The line takes me back to the hospital room where my Mama took her final breath and flew to Jesus. God gave me the greatest gift to be holding her hand and speaking all of our favorite memories as she passed. It was a miracle I made it to the hospital. I had 3 hours with her. She was unable to talk, but God took over. Giving me voice to fill that room with precious memories. I felt her spirit travel through me as she ascended. I was her only child, and we were best friends. I hold on to the promise that she will greet me in Heaven someday. Katie and Emmett...thank you for this healing song.

I turned on You Tube to find a song about Jesus and this was in my feed. I live alone and I'm medically fragile so, this pandemic has been especially hard for me. Dark and lonely times I've cried out to Jesus. I'm longing for the day that I can fly to Jesus. Thank you. Beautiful duet.

This video couldn't have come at a better time. It came up on my feed just after getting a call from the ICU that my mother didn't have much time left. I am so glad I took the time to listen to this first. It was ringing in my ears all day as I sat by her side and it was the first thing I listened to when I got home tonight after she passed away. Thank you for sharing your talents, but more than that, thank you for sharing your faith.
