Canada is a big country. Winter in Vancouver is different from Quebec, the North, and Toronto, etc. Winter is different all over Canada. You have to wear the correct clothes. Some of your taxes pay for your medical. It is not really free. It is a Peter pays for Paul system. Some people do not use the medical system for years. Taxes pay for the beautiful infrastructure that you enjoy. Electricity and water are at your finger tips. Beautiful paved roads without potholes. There is no free ticket or lunch as the saying goes. The cost of living varies. It depends on the province. My advice to people who do not know English. Take lessons.before you come if you plan to live outside of Quebec. English will be the official language spoken in most of Canada. In Quebec, French is the official language spoken.

That's not true. Many people do one job, they live comfortably and they can buy a home. If you keep yourself at the minimum wage customer service jobs and working in McDonald, you are on your own. It's your responsibility to acquire skills needed to get high paying jobs. Why not talk about immigrants in Canada who have 3 to 4 houses. How will you buy a house when you prefer to buy things you can't afford, getting cars you can't afford trying to please people...And then you keep complaining you can't buy a house. Why can't you ask *what can I do to earn more or buy a house* STOP COMPLAINING.....No body owes you anything
